Birka Hotel

Comfy but 160 cm beds, clean, very Nice breakfast.Very positive dark haired girl in The reception. Great location with walkingdistance to shopping area.

Wonderful breakfast. The heating worked perfectly, which made the stay very comfortable. The room was huge, clean, and cozy, with a lovely interior design. Noise insulation was great, very quiet and relaxing overall.

Avoid! Bad conditions!

AVOID!!! The window in 102 would not close properly so it was very very cold in the room, you could feel the wind near the window, inside it was colder than the hallway. I informed the person who was at reception that night and he tried to find a blanket but no succes. Also, later when i tried the bed i noticed that the bed was broken. The next morning i went to talk about the problems we encountered and the young lady at the reception tells me that the guy who had covered the night shift doesn’t really work for the hotel ( not my problem nor a solution ) and actually he did not know where exactly to look for extra blankets! And I told her that even with blankets the air was cold, our faces were cold! And the bed is broken! Breakfast not so diverse, en improvised shower with just a curtain but at least in the bathroom they had floor heating… i DO NOT RECOMMEND! O would post a video of the bed but booking only accepts photos!

It is center of the Stockholm. Walking distance to T-Centrale, therefore subway as well to airport shuttle.

Shower curtain was not good to keep other part from getting wet…It could have been design/done better withe minor effort.

The location and facilities were very satisfactory. The staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast fully met our expectations.

The television set had poor to no instruktions and barely provided an adequate selektion of programs. Availability of a local news station, some international stations like CNN, BBC, Woolf have been desirable.

Don't book a budget double room

I did not realize I was booking a budget double room that did not have a separate shower. The shower and WC were all in the same space. I had booked a double room for an earlier date and that had a separate shower.

The staff people were great, friendly, helpful. The women were beautiful. :) I enjoyed my breakfast every morning. I rarely heard anyone else. My room was quiet.

I had the smallest room one of the nights. It was so small I could handle it for more than one night. I don't have any complaints.

central location

There was no heating in the room so when we complained they brought us a heater but with minus temperatures outside heating the room with a small hater took one day for the room to be heated. Breakfast room is too small so you need to wait to find a free table.

The location was great and the stuff very helpful . The breakfast was also good.

The room was extremely small for 2 people , there was no place for our belongings and the mattress of the bed was misplaced all the time , it was not stable and after the bath the bathroom was full of water .

The location and the staff…Basel was amazing during breakfast…went out of the way to serve us…

2nd time at the Birka - Good stay in central location that was clean, good breakfast, free wifi. Staff super helpful as well.

The street outside is a bit noisy early mornings. So an improvement on the windows to be more sound proof would be an ideal thing.

Very big selection od breakfast (and delicious). The room was a bit smaller but it was enough, clean and pretty hotel. It was quiet during night. Very happy during our stay, we would choose this hotel again.

We would appreciate some table or drawer but that is just detail. Also no refill od toilet paper, eventhough the room was cleaned every day.

the tv wasn’t working, and the breakfast was not my favourite, but it was nice.

The only strong point of this hotel is its location. It's very close to the Arlanda Express train station (just a 5-minute walk), making it perfect for a quick connection to the airport.

The room is tiny, windowless, and uncomfortable. The bathroom is nearly unusable due to the tiny sink and the shower (with a curtain) almost right in front of the door. Having an early flight, I requested a takeaway breakfast, but was told the hotel doesn't offer this service. Hotel Birka is overpriced for the quality and services it offers, and they even charged me for breakfast that wasn't served.

Wonderfully located in Stockholm, extremely clean and very friendly Staff. Although the room was a little too simple we felt very comfortable and would gladly comeback. Thank you.

The Room is more simple than we expected and lacked a chair.

The most I liked location. Wery comfotable and cozzy place.

Room was very small. Since I planned to do some morning exercise, there were no place to realize it in my room, But ok, for one day stay I agreed on such limit.
