Victory Hotel

Victory Hotel is very well located. The unique historical decor was such a breath of fresh air from the normal hotel. And the breakfast was very good! They have a very good restaurant in the hotel as well. Would recommend highly!

Good location for access to the sites in Old Town. Healthy and substantial breakfast selections. Helpful and friendly staff.

Amenities lacking were bar soap, shower cap & bedroom slippers. Otherwise everything was good. Pity that the restaurant was closed for the season.

Great spot in Old Town. There’s a bar and restaurant on premise that are very good. Great staff. Close to eateries and shopping and within easy walking distance to other islands.

Amazingly cozy boutique hotel, very friendly and professional staff, tasty breakfast

Location - next to a pub. Getting woken up every nigh 1-2 in the morning by drunk crowds leaving that place.

The location of the hotel was very well situated in old town. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

I didn’t care for the claustrophobic feel of the lobby and the hotel inside in general. The bar was impossible to get a seat at and was just a wine bar. We thought it was a regular bar.

I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was right on point, beautifully designed with great taste and attention to even the smallest details. I couldn’t recommend it more.

One of the two bathroom sinks was clogged. I used the other sink, but the issue was not resolved during my entire stay.

Location was good; breakfast was ok; staff friendly and helpful.

Visitors should know this is an older building, so is not as well-appointed as modern hotels; for instance no kettle in the room (have to self-serve in the corrifor; bathroom did not have a walk in shower; only in tub shower.

Eclectic decor, comfy rooms

Coffee out in hallway! Inferior breakfast compared to other hotels in Scandinavia. Some fruit was bad, stale bread and choices of foods. The awful smell in elevator. Having to use real key for room.

The breakfast was excellent.David was very helpful. He gave us information about the city, etc.

The staff was lovely. However, they knew very little about the city, excursions and locations.

Parking. We traveled by car and it was difficult to find parking and we actually received a parking ticket from the facilty we parked in even thought we paid for the full time we parked.

Location in Gamla Stan was perfect for seeing the interesting sections of Stockholm. Quiet street, just a block or two away from the busier ones made for comfortable noise level. The hotel is charming - old but well appointed. Breakfast was delightful.

No air conditioning. Hot summer weather required us to sleep with windows open. Luckily, the street was not too noisy.

A very good flexibility in changing the room and the good reachability of interesting places by foot.

Garbage transportation an food delivery between 6.00 and 7.00 am.

It was like being in a ship museum. Room as clean and comfy. Beautiful restaurant on site.

Cute hotel in the old town--had a boutique hotel vibe to it. The staff was excellent and always willing to help. The breakfast was extensive and tasted great. We did not have any noise from the streets below. Luckily this hotel sits one street away from the touristy streets with shops and restaurants. We loved it and would stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in on the edge of the Old City, so walking is easy to everything on the island. It's easy to walk to the ferry to go to other islands or take a boat tour. They do have a restaurant, but you need to book early because it's very popular. It's also close to the Central Train Station, about a 15 minute walk on city streets. Be aware that during certain times of the day, cabs can only take you so far into the old city. This hotel is quite close to that line, about a half block so it's easy to walk a few meters to the door with your bags.

The internet signal in the room was often weak, but the staff helped with that. My husband had a business zoom while we were there and the staff got him a Wi-Fi signal that worked for it. This was the only negative and they fixed it.
