Backstage Hotel Stockholm

The room was large and the breakfast excellent. The staff helpful.

The free breakfast buffet was tremendous

The need to take a ferry or tram to get to most places and the lack of eating options nearby

Big thick sliding door keeps out the noise from the street. In a popular, touristy area. Same building as Abba Museum and across street from GronaLund amusements park, and opera house.

Not much open at night right near. In very touristy area, so if that's your thing, then this might not be the place for you.

I was very sad that when I accidentally booked a room, I accident chose 2 rooms & then I immediately tried to contact Bookings & got no reply back to help me cancel the unnecessary room for my Husband & Me. When we arrived in 30 minutes the nice receptionist said she couldn’t help me with this. I did realize my mistake in route to the Backstage Hotel & cancelled the room we wouldn’t be using, thinking it would open up a space for someone else?!?! So I’m Still hoping Bookings.com will credit me for the room we did not use?We are retired & & on a budget. Please review this situation we were put in & give us a credit for the room NOT USED?. We otherwise thoroughly loved our 2 day stay!!Thankyou,Kathy Rechsteiner

This is the perfect place to stay in Stockholm. The location is phenomenal, walking distance from all the major attractions, in a central part of town so not far from anything really. It’s also right next to the ABBA museum and offers a discounted rate for tickets. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff is so friendly and helpful and available 24/7. Also they offer a complimentary breakfast. Truly a fantastic hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Stockholm.

Absolutely everything. The location was ideal for sightseeing by tram, on foot, or by ferry. The staff was outstanding in every way. The proximity to the ABBA museum as well as Skansen, the Vasa, and the Norway National Museum was extremely helpful. The on-site restaurants were delightful. Breakfast was delicious, with both hot and cold food, and an impressive variety of foods.

Our daughter was ill during our stay and one of the breakfast staff noted that she hadn't eaten any breakfast so they brought her a snack bag to the room!

Fabulous breakfast, outstanding customer service, great location with a bath tub!

It was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the lights of Tivoli nearby and didn't hear any noise from it in our room.

Greta breakfast and friendly staff. Works great for a night. Location is fine for a walk in the greenery and the city is not far away.

The hotel has few common spaces more than the breafast area and check in.

Perfect location and public transportation to center, stylish and comfortable design.

Cleaning service was not good, while overall cleanliness of the room was ok.

Loved the convenience of the location to all sight seeing options and also the access to public transportation. The hotel staff were incredible and very friendly! They truly went out of their way to provide us with whAtever we needed. The staff even packed our breakfast to go because we had an early departure.

The shower/bath tub combo is difficult to get in and out of due to the height.

I wish it had proper AC, but I understand why. When I was able to let the cool air in from the floor to floor windows at night it worked just fine to let the cool air in.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Housekeeping even helped me carry my bags down to my husband waiting in the car! The breakfast was amazing and so is the staff!

Located in the middle of all the museums with close access by ferry or Uber to old Town and other sections of Stockholm.

Proximity to the Vasa Museum

Tiny room, almost no amenities, no place to put my luggage, no closet, a bar so short, one could hang about 3-4 shirts at most.Tiny desk, no power outlets at desk level,no sound proofing, no pipe insulationno heat on a very cold morning

Location. The staff also made sure we were given packed breakfast since we checked out really early.

There was a concert in a nearby location on our last night and we weren't able to sleep until after it ended.
