Nice location by the sea, 15 minutes walk to the old part of Stockholm

Evening meal in the bar on the Friday wasn't great and service very slow.

The location

I stayed for three days, and during all three days the shower was cold whenever I tried to use it. It was −8°C outside, and inside the apartment the temperature was already limited. On top of that, the shower water would not go above 20°C. The water was only lukewarm instead of properly hot.Hot water, especially in the middle of winter, should be a must.

The apartment was OK. I didn’t like the bathroom that much because the shower only had a partial glass panel, so every time I took a shower the whole area would get wet and practically flooded. Still, I could have lived with that.The bigger issue was the bed, which was not very good quality, and especially the temperature inside the apartment. The listing stated that there was heating, but the thermostat was locked at 20°C. Outside it was −8°C, and the apartment felt extremely cold. There was absolutely no way to increase the temperature to make it more comfortable.It honestly felt like the priority was to maximize profit at any cost, while overlooking the guest’s comfort. Proper heating during winter should not be optional.

The bed, I have huge back pain and the fact that it was too soft made it uncomfortable for me. Maybe it’s just me.

The location is everything. The girl at the reception (I think her name was Jane) was extremely nice and made sure we got the rooms with bed preferences we wanted!

The room could have been better, but the view for the new years fire works was fantastic!

Small room

Very friendly staff and a lovely hotel. Everything was clean and cozy. We came just to leave our luggage, but we were kindly offered an early check-in since the room was already ready. It was very quiet at night, and nothing disturbed our sleep.

Well situated!We checked in late and received a very welcoming reception from Mr. Kaddour at the front desk. I would like to commend Mr. Kaddour for suggesting an upgrade to a better room with value for money.We liked the view from the new room !!!

Our check-in could have been better and the breakfast was limited. But apart from those small things it's a lovely hotel!

The Rooms were okay.

Restaurant literally had very less options. No parking is a nightmare. We drove in our car from Netherlands all the way here, just to park on the street with limited options. Was the biggest turnoff.

Only location

I've made mistake of choosing the correct month I chose December instead of November unfortunately they take advantage of this mistake and they give me the smallest room with the price of superior room and 4 days for the price of 5 days. There was no consideration of mistake could happen.

Pleasant

I stayed a weekend and I tried to eat lunch in the hotel on Saturday and they said the restaurant wasn't open and I couldn't eat anything at the hotel. Needed to go out to eat something in town

Strand hotel is perfectly placed in the center with walking distance to the castle, the main shopping areas as well as the boats to the archipelago. The bed, although very narrow for two people, was very comfortable.

The room was extremly small and much too dark (not possible to turn on a bright). With two open suitcases we were not able to move around in the room without walking over a bag. The breakfast was extremly crowded, A ”pre-booking” system would have been better. We had to wait for 15 min to get seated. Consequently the buffet was not well filled up.

It was an amazing 24 hour stay with family to have a pre-Christmas celebration together with family in Stockholm. The team at the Radisson could not have been anymore helpful- I needed cots and a bed for a 4 year old and EVERYTHING was provide with no hiccups. We had 3 rooms booked in total and everything was faultless. There is so much to see and do in Stockholm, whatever the time of year and the Radisson Strand is the best location. It is our second stay and will definitely not be our last.

A wonderful Radisson Collection hotel in the heart of Stockholm on the waterfront. The location and amenities are excellent – ​​all attractions are within walking distance, the train and bus stations are nearby, along with numerous restaurants and shops, and water transport is right across the street. The hotel's design combines classic style with modern comfort and eco-friendliness. The room is comfortable, clean, and cozy. It comes with a set of disposable slippers and bathrobes, which is a great plus. The bathroom comes with toiletries—hand gel, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand cream—which is very convenient and thoughtful. Breakfast is delicious and varied, costing 345 SEK. There's a restaurant with good quality food. The hotel staff is professional, pleasant, and attentive. Thank you all for a wonderful stay and a pleasant experience!
