    Pros +

    • Nice hotel, great location, excellent customer service at reception, very good spa.
    • Lovely large room, and view over the sea and to the other islands. Good variety of food at breakfast. Large reception/bar area
    • Large comfortable room with a view of the harbour.Well presented reception and bar with dining/,breakfast room. Close to the ferry for travel to downtown and other islands. The restaurant staff especially Karolina were excellent. She had the ability to make each guest feel like they were special. If she doesn't manage the restaurant she should.

    Cons -

    • We booked this hotel for the Spa for a big birthday treat, but had to cut short our trip due to a family issue so didn't end up using the spa. If you don't need to use the spa, book a hotel in the Centre of Stockholm. We stayed when the weather was cold and the sea was frozen which meant the ferries weren't running as frequent, so we ended up spending a lot of money on ubers to get to the hotel. There is nothing else around the hotel and walking from the hotel is a bit difficult due to a lot of roadworks. We stayed at the weekend and the hotel operates a ticket system for time slots for the hotel, which we didn't like as we didn't want to have to get up at a certain time. Sunday breakfast is really busy. Conflicting information about ordering and paying for cappuccino's and lattes. Were told they were included in the price, but then asked to pay for them. For the cost of the breakfast I would expect the special coffees to be included. Probably wouldn't stay here again as very expensive and didn't really live up to the cost.
    • Breakfast although with huge options had issues with hot items such as fried eggs, hash browns and bacon. These items were cold each of the six mornings. Obviously a popular centre for business meetings and parties meant sometimes hotel guests were forgotten in the bar.
    • Everything was great

Conveniently located near the Viking terminal and close to the center thanks to the shuttle boat. Beautiful building and views. Delicious breakfast and excellent staff, highly recommended.

Corridors can be noisy, it’s a busy hotel.

Upgrade mit seasiew, breakfast was very good.

Ferry boat to the City to be paid which is ok.

    9GavinPosted on: 1-3-2026

Breakfast was superb. The location was quiet but with easy access to the City by ferry and the room was more than adequate but could probably have done with the mattress being replaced. My grown up children made full use of a well equipped gym and my wife and I enjoyed the sauna and pool despite it being very busy.Great stay overall.

    Just the mattress!

The staff were all very helpful, friendly and happy. The bar staff were exceptional, and clearly highly experienced. It was good to see the hotel invested in quality staff.

    The bath towels were small.

Great staff, good night's sleep, excellent breakfast, easy to reach by the ferry from the centre of Stockholm. Lovely spa, worth it if your can get the residents rate.

Big and comfortable roomsGreat breakfast Perfect location

Windows were very difficult to open, I'm 1,65m and couldn't reach them. So not ideal if you like the morning light and the fresh air.

This hotel is amazing and the pinnacle of Swedish creativity and design. I've visited from 19/12 until 23/12/2025 and it was stunning. Especially the rich and lovely breakfast and the Christmas vibes around it :) I will definitely come back and also Filippa the receptionist who was very kind by explaining the history of the building !!!!

Maybe more attention to allergies of clients. It wasn't mentioned anywhere specifically.

It’s a beautiful building, very spacious and decorative.

    10AnnePosted on: 12-15-2025

Lovely, welcoming, clean and comfortable.Great breakfast selection.Super easy to get on transport as boat station just outside.

    9StanPosted on: 12-10-2025

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. There is nothing in the vicinity of the hotel, but there is a ferry dock just outside with frequent connections to town. The room was comfortable, quiet and a good size. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and good coffee.

The only down side is that this is a conference hotel, which means it gets very busy and they use the lobby for coffee breaks and receptions for delegates. It meant we couldn't get to the bar one evening for an early drink so went in to town instead.

    9ZivPosted on: 12-9-2025

The bed is very comfortable, the room is spacious and well designed.

Location was beautiful but less accessible and more isolated then we assumed.
