The location is perfect and the staff very helpful

We had an Executive room and it was frozen.The only place which was cozy was the bathroom because of the heater.

Beautiful location, stunning inside, staff were very friendly and attentive.

The noise - the street cars ran right outside the window until 2am - it was a challenge to sleep.

Our stay was outstanding. The staff is lovely and helpful. The room was incredible and huge, and even if it’s close to the train station, it was not noisy. The breakfast is fantastic and very complete ( I even found fresh avocado for my toasts, that it’s not common in these countries) and the eggs were medium boiled, which also it’s difficult to find it. Definitely our favorite hotel in Gothenbourg for our nexts stays!

The room may look dated, but that is the charm of the hotel. Overall the single room was larger than I expected. The bathroom has heated towel rack and maybe heated floor. The location is across the street from the main train and bus station. If you take the bus from the airport, you will walk straight out of the bus/train station and cross the street and the hotel is on your right. This hotel has charm and I am glad I picked this hotel that the other hotels around me. Breakfast was more than what I imagine. I saw a lot of locals speding $$$$ for breakfast so it has to be one of the best.

The place can start a remodel of the bedroom.

Great hotel on a perfect location. Beautiful rooms, hallways and especially the restaurant. Lovely building. Great staff. Plentiful and really enjoyable breakfast with good service. One of the most interesting and beautiful hotels I've visited. I would certainly stay in hotel Eggers again and recommend it to everyone who appreciates good accommodation and impeccable service.

Fabulous “old-world” hotel in great, central location! Fabulously decorated rooms, comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast and fantastic staff. It’s our “go to” hotel in Gothenburg.

Would be nice to have a coffee machine in the room.

Central location, good breakfast, access to water at the lobby round the clock. It's an iconic hotel. Thank God I was not in the haunted room 397.

Room facing the train station - not soundproof and I needed earplugs to help with sleep. Room lights were incredibly dim, one of the two lights in the bathroom was not working making it even darker than it already was. Hot and cold water in the bathtub was kinda finicky to manage. Bed was on the soft side.

They did not have valet parking. Had to park myseythrough entry that was extremely narrow-crack passenger side mirror. Will not use facility without either onsite or valet parking.

Beautiful, historic hotel next to central train station and walkable to all of the sites in central Gothenburg - Or an easy tram ride to other parts of the city. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, beautiful decor.

Loved this classic hotel the decor was amazing. We were upgraded to a front room with a balcony, bedroom and bathroom were lovely with a sitting area and a balcony too!

Sad we arrived on Sunday and the restaurant is closed on Sunday night

Location was superb. Everything available close by or by tram also close by. Room was large and well equipped. Breakfast buffet was extraordinarily good.

The whole hotel, including the rooms, is very dark. At some level this is ok, but overall it is rather depressing. Despite the fact that the reception, the bar, etc. are really welcoming. My advice is not to stay here but come visit frequently,

A very classic building and classic rooms, but not outdated – only nice atmosphere. Central location in the city centre next to the train station. Breakfast with a wide selection, and it was even possible to eat outside. Nice people in the reception.

Ok, but not the nicest «backyard view» from the room. But that was as expected (normal).

Extremely well located. Just steps from multiple transit options, including the central train station.Provided ample opportunity for "people watching" as they traversed the square, to and fro.Hotel is several hundred years old, but still well maintained, with lots of its orginal character.Despite being located in a very busy location, the windows and blinds effectively blocked any street noise.

Breakfast was buffet, which became a little chaotic with everyone fending for themselves. It may have been better to have wait staff. Like most hotels in the area, there is no air conditioning.Parking adds up, if you choose to drive to the hotel. It is also a bit of process to get parking.

Very close to the station but it wasn’t noisy at night or in the morning. Very pleasant welcome and easy check in. Beautiful room with entrance area, bathroom with large walk in shower, and large bedroom with super king bed.Wonderful breakfast with a vast choice of hot and cold, sweet and savoury food and drinks. Luggage room available after check out.
