Pros +
- Wonderful hotel. Great beds and quiet and spacious room. Beautiful patio and great location, a few steps away from Giralda and Cathedral. Very attentive staff.
- Beautiful hotel. Great location and very nice staff!!
- So noisy we couldn’t sleep.
Cons -
- It was so noisy in our room, we got no sleep. We came to run the marathon, and the night before we could hear thumping loud club music in our room until around 3am. We asked reception 3 times for help of some form - even earplugs - but there was no change or help. The reception implied it was the roof bar (which did play very loud music all weekend that could be heard in our room), but when it got past 2am we were sceptical. We are still unclear where the club music was coming from, as there are no bars attached to the building. The windows are paper thin and did not seal (proved by rain water pouring in), this is not acceptable for a city centre hotel, and shocking for a Marriott. All in all, our otherwise great stay was really spoilt by being sleep deprived, especially ahead of the marathon.
- Breakfast was very poor and the girl working in the breakfast room was very rude .. pool bar and area very dirty and was looking bad .. tiles in pool were black with dirt .. room was OK but worn
- Extremely small room and bed

Location and friendly staff
Extremely small room and bed
The location of this hotel is excellent and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful- would go out their way to helpHotel is modern and has a good selection of drinks. 5 mins walk from main square Taxi was 30€ from airport Pool area and bar nice and not busy at all in October
We stayed in room 4 the room was clean and big but very dark- no windows. We were only in the room two night but any more would have been a problem Room 4 shower also leaks- water everywhere and because the toilet Is upstairs you need toLeave the Light on all the time and at night. Annoying!Breakfast expensive for what you get- source somewhere nicer outside
breakfast ok a little basis
location and helpful staff
Breakfast was amazing. We received a free room upgrade which was really lovely.
The restaurant had no atmosphere and very limited menu. The chicken collagen meal was interesting.
The location very close to the Cathedral in the old Santa Cruz area. The free bicycles in good condition. The roof top swimming pool with lovely views of the Gerialda.
The room was very dated, the walls were dirty especially in the bathroom with doors hanging off the mini bar etc.The towels and bathrobes were threadbare and grey, they did not feel clean. The sheets did not fit the king size bed, and when we requested sheets that covered the mattress it was not possible, hard to imagine in a 4 star hotel !The roof bar is extremely noisy until very late at night. Have room 220-226 to get away from the noise.
I Likes the location it was central.
The breakfast could have been a little better the eggs were usual y cold
Great location. Nice rooms and pool. Very friendly staff.
Great pool area, great location
Price of drinks is extremely high
Location and size of rooms
There were ants all over my room they got into my vitamins and infested my bags
Location Decor Staff were great
Staff were very friendly and attentive especially Abdi. Location perfect from shops, restaurants and exploring the city. Room was very spacious and bathroom too! Great rooftop bar and pool.
More parasols needed by the rooftop pool. Water in the rooms needed to be replenished more frequently. Information about the hotel such as opening times of bar, pools, breakfast etc should be in the room. Didn't like that you had to text a number to order drinks to you room.
location was perfect, right next to the cathedral, lots of bars and restaurants out the door of the hotel. perfect for kids with a larger room and extra bed and a cot. would absolutely return. The pool was also welcomed in the heat.
more shade around the pool would have been nice.
Excellent location , amazing breakfast and stylish hotel
The pool area is a little tired
Property was very centrally located which was perfect for getting around the city, very easy to walk too The restaurant and bar downstairs was closed and very empty so lacked atmosphere. The staff were lovely and would provide a drink from the bar if asked but they weren’t trained bar staff so it wasn’t the same experience we expected especially as the bar is marketed as a ‘sherry bar’ and the staff had no knowledge about the different sherrys. The pool area was very clean but in reality it is a lot smaller than what it looks like on the photos, there was no room to walk between the sun lounger and the pool edge which meant you were often knocked or interrupted by other guests when you were trying to relax by the pool. The pool bar was also great but quite disappointing as this didn’t do ‘pool snacks’ or lunch and only opened at 4
Breakfast was fresh each morning and had a good variety. Hot food was prepared if you wished.
Fabulous hotel in an amazing location . Wonderful views from the rooftop pool/bar . As it was extremely hot while we were there, it was amazing to have a pool to enjoy .
