Rooms cold but staff helped me.

Nice room and economical. We also appreciated that there was someone there to check us in. The refreshments were a nice surprise and gratis!

The elevator was out of order which was unfortunate because my husband is disabled.

Provided a complimentary drinks, snacks & fruits bar to all hotel guests. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. It is a very memorable stay indeed.

We loved staying here and felt like we had walked into a luxurious hotel with friendly and helpful reception staff. We were allowed to leave our luggage earlier when we arrived which is always a bonus. The Lobby area was fantastic- providing an array of hot and cold drinks 24hrs along with fruit, cereals and snacks which we really appreciated. The whole property is very clean and safe and the location is right there in the buzz of all the action.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like - everything was perfect.

We stayed Dec17-26th - had a Superior Double room (303) on the top floor (which has 2 other rooms 301, 302). It was very large & clean. The staff were always on duty 7am-11pm, helpful and friendly with good English. The free coffee/biscuits/fruit/cereal were a bonus. The location is 2mins from the Cathedral and area with many tapas bars/restaurants. You can get a 6Euro EA bus from the airport to the "Torre del Oro" stop, which is about 13mins walk to hotel.

BEWARE - the great location means you are close to the Iglesia San Salvador - this has clock bells that chime on the hour and half hour ALL NIGHT. So for a room on the top floor, bring EARPLUGS, possibly for the other floors too.

Noise from the laneway at all hours - not the property’s fault. And better pillows would be nice …

The room was just as described, comfortable and very clean. The location is perfect for walking to the Cathedral and over to the river front.

The hotel is beautiful, spacious and on a great location. They have lots of amenities including water and coffee all day. I would stay there again without a doubt. Assuncion is a great hostess providing the tickets for the flamenco show

It exceeded my expectations

This hotel met all our expectations and more. Juanfransisco welcomed us warmly upon our arrival, ensuring that we had all the information we needed for a great stay in Sevilla, both inside the hotel and in the city itself. Our room was spacious and comfortable; soft drinks, hot drinks, juices and snacks etc were available gratis to guests in a downstairs lounge. Location was excellent, as the hotel is close to major sites in the old town.

We thought that the hotel was very well located , near the cathedral and many other attractions. So many stores and restaurants near the hotel. The room was very comfortable, clean and the staff were wonderful. They recommended us different restaurants and a tablao show. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely lobby, nice enough staff, clean rooms

There was a loud 'buzzing' sound in my room, an incessant 2 to 3 second long vibrating noise that kept me awake. It 'buzzed' once every 30 - 60 seconds. They the staff, thought it was from the air conditioner in my room. The next day, I was offered another room - which I accepted (without going to look at it). I packed my suit case and made the move up one floor. The room was much smaller, but as my friends were waiting for me, I didn't fuss about it, I dumped my case and went out for the evening. On returning after 11pm, I got to my room, and the exact same loud incessant buzzing noise was still sounding! I have recorded the noise. The new room, I believe, was directly above the old room (201, then I was put in 301). I complained the next morning - and was told that the hotel was full and that there was nothing they could do. In one interaction, I was told that the person who was on duty had gone to the room and had heard nothing. I went straight down to the reception area and brought the front desk person to the room, and he heard the noise - he said it was probably the buildings air con system and then he told me that no one else has ever complained. It was an exhausting 3 nights at the Basic Hotel Savilla. A video of my room in which you can hear the noise is available. Just let me know how I can get it to youNatalie Greatorex

Location, staff and rooftop terrace.

Location was perfect. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Very clean property.

Taxi/Uber has to drop you off a little ways away because the street/pedestrian walkway is very small. Not really an issue though unless your mobility is limited.

Excellent location on a tiny back street 4 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Excellent customer needs awareness - No restaurant but free cereals, juices, coffee, biscuits soft drinks available all day long. Early check-in accommodated where possible, left luggage available all day of departure. The hotel is basic - it tells you that - but the facilities all met with our approval. Our room was plenty big enough with a lovely big bathroom and walk-in shower. Great air-con (very quiet) They even have a sun terrace with shower on the roof. HIGHLY recommended !

It is in the middle of a busy area which means there can be a small amount of noise in the tiny street below.

It was behind the Mercer 4 star hotel, so easy to find. They had free fanta drinks, coke, bottled Orange juice and bottled pineapple juice. They also had free flow cookies, chocolate croissant and cereal. Free flow coffee, hot chocolate, hot milk and hot water also. It was near cathedral and near alot of small bistros and shops.

No hot water to shower if you woke up late or came back to hotel late. No toothbrush and shaver provided. Only shower gel, shampoo and lotion provided. Our room was at level 1 and our window was next to alley. Made it feel like we stayed at someone’s home. After while you get used to it.
