Hotel America Sevilla

We liked the breakfast served in the mezzanine area. Location was great and the staff was helpful. We also liked the bed. Air conditioning worked well.

T hotel was easy to get to. The hotel was clean It is in a nice safe area There are plenty of things to see within walking distance There are many places to eat nearby

Comfy bed, great rooms and walking distance to everything! Cannot wait to return. The staff are so lovely as well.

There was a strong sewage smell in the room that would not go away even with windows open. We informed the reception and the lady told us she would inform the appropriate staff but did not look surprised. Apparently this is a recurring issue

Location

Had to change rooms for clogged shower and ants in bed. Second room so hot all night we didn't sleep well and A/C would not blow cold air.

Location is excellent. Parking thru hotel is easy and affordable. Room is clean . Walking distance to everything to visit in Seville

Good location. Clean rooms, and the building still feels new. Adequate size room.

AC was not great. It was warm for October and we needed AC, but it barely cooled the room after hours running. City has changed the bus lines so there is no longer a stop in the square. Nothing the hotel can do about this, but important to know. Worst thing was no hot water on our first morning. After one cold shower we reported it to the front desk who called maintenance immediately. We were told someone would be up to investigate. We never heard back so, after another cold shower we headed out for our day. Mentioned to the front desk that we were never contacted by maintenance and they told us it was a problem with the building and the hot water had been reset. Wish we would have been told instead of thinking we were forgotten.

Central location. Walking distance to all of Seviila's tourism spots. Our room was well appointed and had an amazing view of the Cathedral.

The hotel is PERFECTLY situated! The Hop On Hop Off bus stops at the square right where the hotel is situated and the taxis also line up in the square. We were in walking distance to fabulous restaurants, not least the fabulous rooftop terrace of the Department Store right opposite the hotel. Coffee in the morning was at the little bar on the square before we set out sight-seeing,

There isn't anything that we didn't like - my only criticism is the scent in the foyer was a bit strong and I didn't like it, but that's a personal opinion.

Not one single drawer available in the entire room, nowhere, neither in the bathroom, nor in the night-table nor in the wardrobe. A little bit limited for storing clothes and other things, especially if you stay 3 or 4 nights.

Room, location, it was clean

It is not that i did not like - just that breakfast could be more varied and with more vegetables, olives. And there wasn t big cups for tea.

The staff was very pleasant to deal with. Parking across the street was somewhat reduced in price when you arranged it through the hotel; which was appreciated. The beds were comfortable.

There was a very unpleasant odour in the hotel in general, but most significantly in the front lobby. We immediately opened the windows in our room to air it out. The room was quite "tired" looking: while the hallway looked more updated (which seemed odd) We had breakfast at the hotel one morning, but opted for a cafe the next morning. The hotel breakfast was ok, but the area was severely understaffed, with one person trying desperately to clear tables, assist people and restock food.
