Mercer Plaza Sevilla

We had a wonderful stay at the Mercer Plaza. The hotel is beautiful and the location is superb: 10 min walk in any direction and you will be at the doorstep of all the major monuments and sights, in the heart of the historical centre. The service is super, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and attentive; many thanks to all for taking care of us so well. We will certainly stay again in our next trip to Seville.

The hotel is a work of art - 2 separate buildings brought together with really interesting spaces, excellent staff.

The only challenge is arriving in a car, the front of the hotel is a one way street with no parking to load or unload.

The staff at this hotel are fantastic. They are the prime reason for the high rating. Everyone, without exception, were absolutely charming. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive. Valet parking is available and is an absolute necessity as the hotel is in the middle of the old town which is largely pedestrianized with no obvious parking available anywhere close by.

The junior suite has no view. The windows are just overlooking another building a couple of meters away. Therefore, the view is basically a concrete wall. The room is very dark as a result. All the junior suites have the same aspect. If I had known I would have chosen a different room option.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mercer Plaza Sevilla.The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the old town, with all the major historical sights, shops, and eateries just a few minutes’ walk away. It made exploring Seville effortless and incredibly enjoyable.Service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, making us feel truly well looked after. To recap a few, they gave great food and restaurant recommendations, offered us umbrellas on rainy days, helped with bags along the kerb/ driveway and adjusted the AC settings for our room promptly when requested. Our room was fabulously spacious and luxuriously appointed, far larger than expected, and overlooked the main square below. In the evenings, we had a picture-perfect view of the Christmas light show projected onto the façade of the City Hall — a truly magical touch that made our stay feel extra special.Breakfast was cosy and intimate, with excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere — the perfect way to start each day.An exceptional hotel in every sense. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend Mercer Plaza Sevilla to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city.

What a gem of a hotel. The hotel is a true boutique! The hotel is in a great location, walkable to everything. The staff are outstanding, the rooms beautiful, lovely restaurant and bar. A surprise top floor bar and plunge pool, along with a small but fully functional gym. Their attention to detail was exceptional. A bottle of cava in our room on arrival (it was our anniversary) and, without prompting, a sweet treat on my husband’s birthday - they must have seen the card. Blown away by the attention to fine detail

Also asked me if I need something, they even texted me the easiest way to get to the hotel and what transportation to use.

It’s a beautiful building, the decor and atmosphere are unbeatable for the price in Seville. We were welcomed by Luís and Fatima who went above and beyond to make our stay special. They are reason alone along with everyone we saw working at the hotel to go back again soon

Honestly nothing

Everything, what can i say, they are at the level of their 5 stars. Great service (they came and picked us up from far as we did not know how to reach the hotel with our car through non-pedestrian streets). The stff was great and always helpful and friendly and professional. They were even giving us water every time we were leaving the hotelHotel and rooms are amazing , super clean and beautiful. Rooftop pool was amazing to rest our body after the big heat of the affernoon and to chill in the late evening.Location was superb, everythig we needed to visist was 5 mins walking distance from hotel.

Nothing, it was too short of a stay

We were given a really warm welcome by the attentive and kind hotel team, providing ice cold water and coffees immediately upon arrival (which was hugely appreciated after travelling and before acclimatising to Seville’s heat). The room was really comfortable and sleek, with enough space/storage. The hotel rooftop was a real highlight and the pool, though small, is fabulous for cooling off and enjoying the views. The staff arranged for us to have drinks on the roof top with friends staying elsewhere locally which was great. We enjoyed our two nights - only wish we could have stayed for longer.

The only feedback would be that it would be great if it was easier to arrange for drinks / to make an order when on the rooftop. In the intense summer heat it makes sense to not have this in full service, however it could be helpful to streamline this slightly.

We just spent three nights at Mercer Plaza. This boutique hotel was a brilliant find. The location couldn’t have been better — so close to the Cathedral (we could see it from our window), Alcazar and Old Town as well as lots of great restaurants and shops. Our room was beautifully styled and felt very luxurious and the pool on the rooftop was a bonus to cool off at the end of the day. What makes this hotel truly special was the staff. They were warm and attentive, making us feel so welcome every day. They really went above and beyond. They offered us great dinner recommendations too. Honestly, you don't need to look any further than Mercer Plaza for your holiday in Seville. Highly recommended!

Two gentlemen quickly stepped forward to assist with our luggage, creating a perfect first impression—professional, kind, and welcoming.The hotel itself is minimal, clean, and effortlessly stylish—an oasis of calm tucked right into the heart of Sevilla. But what truly stood out was the staff. No matter where we were—lobby, hallway, or breakfast area—we were always greeted with a smile and a sense of care.Their quiet attentiveness, respectful manner, and sincere hospitality made our stay not only comfortable but memorable. It’s rare to feel so well looked after without ever feeling overwhelmed.A beautiful space made even better by the people who run it. We’re leaving with full hearts—and already planning our return. welcome, but cared for in every way.
