Hotel Madrid de Sevilla by SHS

The room had what we needed, smaller than shown in photos. Clean. Good location.

Unfortunately we were unable to sleep during our stay because the hotel allowed large groups of people to drink and party extremely loudly in the building. This carried on until the very early hours of the morning. We had an early flight and were unable to sleep at all. The staff were nice during our stay however they did nothing about this completely unacceptable level of noise right outside of our room. It was like being in a bar while we were laying in bed. If the staff do not feel comfortable telling people to adhere to the quiet hours that were noted under the condition of our stay then they need to consider hiring security. Would not stay here again.

Very friendly staff. The room was very good, with a comfortable bed and a lot of lights. Extremely good quality/price ratio.

Good hotel location

The electronic doors in the property were very noisy as they shut loudly and you had to type in a room pin to access your room. As such throughout the night there was continuous loud noises from the doors from the beeping door lock and the doors slamming. Furthermore, rooms were often cleaned and serviced at night so it meant that rooms right next to ours were being cleaned up until 11pm at night which was quite loud. This problem was worsened due to the fact that our room was on the 3rd floor right next to the housekeeping office so there was continuous coming and going from there at night.So overall it was quite difficult to get a good nights sleep here.

Everything was new, clean and working. Great location and friendly staff.

Just stayed for a single night before our flight back. Wasnt expecting much due thw price but was pleasantly suprised with how clean the room and everything else was.

Comfortable beds, rectangular shower, cotton bedding. Convenient for bus to and from airport. Room was ready even though we arrived a little early. Handy to have left luggage facilities.

Room 234 was rather small. Missed having tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The location is fairly convenient to the attractions. Especially near to the AutoBus - Alsa.

The surrounding area was not a well maintained area that you could see trashes. The towel looks like they haven’t been changed for at least 5 years. For the price paid, I think this is a minimum requirement to at least have decent towels. The hair dryer shampoo could be upgraded.

Nothing fancy but a nice little hotel with friendly personnel, good breakfast and close to everything you want to visit, great location.

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.

Noise - the night staff engage in loud conversations with guests, shouting and laughing, until the early hours. The noise echoes up the staircase into the bedroom. On night 1 this went on till after 2am. On night 2 I had to intervene and ask them to quieten down! Totally ruined our sleep.Breakfast is underwhelming.

The staff were great. The bed was very comfortable. Good value breakfast. Reception was super helpful with great ideas. Great value for the price.

The location was great. We walked to everything we wanted to see in the old quarter and along the river. It was also handy to the bus stops for the airport and train station. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. They let us borrow a kettle which was very handy.

When we switched on the air conditioner it seemed to be on high all time. There was only one power point which we could easily use.

More than happy with breakfast - service was excellent and friendly staff.Excellent location, quiet but close to centre & sights.Lovely view from window of a tree lined cobbled street.Great being able to leave our luggage on our last day and collect it later, enabling us to enjoy more of this beautiful city.

Lack of tea/coffee facilities in bedroom.Towels were thin & seemed quite old - need replacing.

This is the second time that I have stay at this property, it's near every major attraction to go on foot.

Location for the sites restaurants and shopping excellent .

The location is great for walking and exploring old town. The hotel is in good condition and has been updated in the last few years, it’s comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast of toast, pastries, yogurt and fruit was fine and the service was great.

The hotel advertises it has parking available so when comparing it to others in a similar price range it became the clear choice. Unfortunately, when we checked in at 7:30 pm the receptionist could not check the garage for available space which is down the street because he was the only person on duty and couldn’t leave the hotel. So we had the privilege of paying €29.95 for 24hrs at a public lot about 3 minutes away. If you require parking it might be wise to call the hotel to see if you can reserve a spot before booking.
