Colectia Hotel Parada del Marqués

Location - was really well located in the old town close to the Plaza de Armas bus station, a short walk from the Triana market and neighborhood, easy walks to the Alcazar, Las Setas and also a nice stroll along the river to Plaza Espana. The property itself is well kept with a 24h concierge, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was super comfortable, they had also laid out the sofa bed as we were a family of 3 which was surprisingly comfortable. Communication was also easy with loads of pre-information via WhatsApp which I found very helpful to plan some basic things ahead. Time well spent!

The location is fantastic, the rooms are well appointed and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a small boutique hotel which has its advantages.

Great location - 15 min easy walk to Cathedral, literally 3 min from bus station, with restaurants and bars within a block or so. Standard rooms are small but well laid out, great shower. Staff were just so helpful. Nice touches like a welcome drink, free coffee and water and a daily happy hour for guests. Free bikes for guests (first come basis). It was 3 star rating - but a 5 star stay.

Some more awareness of problems in the bedroom. Toilet seat that wasn't secure so slipped when in use. Towel rail not secure to the wall so pointless putting the towel on it. TV not essential but wasn't available until twice of asking. But the staff were very helpful in every other way. Breakfast wasn't for us as a bit expensive we thought for what was on offer.

Clean, contemporary but charming, and good breakfast. Nice bicycles, convenient location, and good value.

Ask for a room not on the street if staying over a weekend. There is a very large nightclub within 100 yards of the hotel and noise all night until 8 am.

It’s at the edge of the old town area therefore takes quite a long walk to get to the cathedral. We took taxi instead. Serves well as a hotel for short term stays.

Spacious room with large seating area; super comfy bed and pillows; bright and tastefully decorated. We were welcomed with a glass of wine, and invited to take part in the complimentary wine and cheese hour in the evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the 24-hour reception desk and buzz-in procedure that made the hotel feel totally secure. Excellent location just a block from the river and within easy walking distance of the central attractions. Loads of restaurants and bars, and recommendations from the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied; coffee and tea available all day. Bikes available for those braver than us! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

I can just say the price can be less more and car park problem.

Nice little hotel in a good location (15 min walk to the main area). The staff were all really helpful and friendly, room was a nice size and clean, and there’s free tea, coffee and a water dispenser in the breakfast area.

The only thing I didn’t like was that my ground floor room only had a window which looked out to a tiny courtyard. Because the building is so tall that meant I couldn’t see the outside world at all and would need to leave the room completely to see what the weather was like. I did however book the cheapest room so would recommend you book for the next one up. My room was room 3 and whilst I would stay at this hotel again, I would ask not to have room 3
