Location was not as advertised. And the bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous guest (towels on the floor, urine in the toilet)

The sofa bed mattress was very uncomfortable and the gate in the area out the balcony was very loud every time it shut

The location is great and the staff was really helpful. The directions and instructions regarding waste are clear enough, we didn't have any issues with getting around. The room was also tidy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. I guess for this price, it's what you get in Oslo.

The bed is comfy, but there should be more pillows or at least one bigger pillow, cause there are different kinds of sleepers. Also, the blankets were too heavy, there should also be another set of thinner blankets. The floor heating in the bathroom didn't work and not all heaters worked even though they were already set to max.

It was spacious for a family of 5.

The images of apartment on the rental site showed a sample apartment that was nicer than the one we had. Ours was a bit bare bones.

The location. Property should mention that the Munch museum and opera house are on the other side of the bridge. we asked four different Norwegians and nobody gave us those directions. When I arrived there was no curtain on the bedroom window. It also came off when I opened it the final day. The bedroom door nearest the window would not close. The room should have been ready for occupancy as I booked it two months before arriving. Although the missing curtain was replaced within four hours of my request this meant that I was disturbed by workers and could not catch up on sleep after a long flight until after the repair had been made. I recommend that your cleaning staff carefully checked the rooms when cleaning them to report problems so they are fixed prior to occupancy. Leaving it up to reports by guests clearly isn’t working.

Location, the balcony, the size, facilities (kitchen and washing machine were a big plus)

The neighbor one night was on their balcony smoking so we had to shut our windows and doors.

Staff was extremely helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable. Location was great!

The wifi transmission timed out frequently requiring a router reboot. Although still functional, it was a consistent inconvenience.

Comfortable and spacious in a nice area. Clean with all amenities. Check-in info was good.

A little token would be nice upon arrival - such as some coffee/tea bags. Also a door Matt inside as with the snow, this was quite hard to keep clean. Would also recommend extra pillows on the bed.

Beds need a consideration

This was our second time staying at Bjørvika Apartments, although this time we were given a different room. The location is perfect, the apartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Public transport is very close, and having a grocery store right below the apartment is extremely convenient. Our expectations were fully met, and it’s a really budget-friendly option for Oslo, which is not easy to find.

We liked almost everything, except that the bedroom window cannot be opened. We stayed in November, when it was very cold outside, and the only way to get fresh air into the apartment was by opening the balcony door which are located at whole other side of the apartment, in the living room. This meant letting in freezing temperatures and cooling down the entire apartment, which wasn’t ideal.

The location is amazing. very close to opera and central bus/train station

They have not provided shampo, hand soup. also for our little infant, no extra pillow or blanket were provided.

The location was very convenient to train and bus, and to tourist sites.

All the apartment was absolutely spotless. All the facilities were just as advertised. Also appreciated the very accurate description of where the bins were located.

Our specific apartment was warm on the cold days and had a good balcony with nice views and enough hot water for our family of six.

We booked for two adults and four children, but there were only beds for five of us. On enquiry we were told it's because anyone under five years old in Norway co sleeps with their parents. This was not explained anywhere in the details and there wasn't enough room to have our 4yo in our bed. Plus he's not used to it. I also checked the booking which said two twin rooms and one double room with an extra bed (7 beds), only to be told a twin bed is a single bed, so if we needed another bed we had to pay an additional fee. I asked for the accommodation we booked, but the (rather unhelpful) member of staff insisted, that on their interpretation of the booking, we had the accommodation we'd booked. I ended up having to pay for an extra bed to squeeze into one of the single bedrooms, along with the towels for a sixth person which were also missing on arrival. It wasn't the best experience to start a week in Oslo.I'd advise anyone booking with this company to thoroughly check what you're booking. Their office is in a beautiful plush complex, so you may think that's where your accommodation is situated, but the apartments they rent are all over town and not necessarily in the 'nice' areas. And obviously check local customs for sleeping arrangements if you're a large family used to sleeping in your own beds. Oh and if you're from a place where twin means two, be aware that in many accommodations and accommodation websites, it means one if you're talking about beds. I had no idea a twin bed was a single bed, because I totally thought a single bed, meant a single bed ? This is something I learnt the hard way, but now I'm wiser. One twin bed means one single bed, but twin babies, twin necklaces, twin towns, the definition of twin in the dictionary, everything else twin, definitely means two.

Very clean. No dust at all. The room has everything you need. Same as photos. Easy to access. Very clear directions to the reception area. Good price.

Only problem was the bed. It was not comfortable . It was actually two single beds pushed together, and they kept separating every time you turned during the night. This made it hard to sleep, and you could easily slip into the gap if you lay in the middle. Definitely not ideal for a comfortable rest.

The apartment was nicely decorated and equipped. Location is alright.

There were some noisy neighbors that were throwing parties every evening/night, that was quite strange… The pillows in the apartment were of very low quality and no extra pillows were available.

Great location, closer to the train station and the whole city center. The apartment was silent, nice, cozy and clean, perfect to host a group of people traveling for work.

The location is great. It’s close to the train station and easy access to public transportation. Many of the sights were also within walking distance. Office was also quick in responding to questions.

There should be a manual for the kitchen appliances-oven, stove top and dishwasher. None of them were intuitive to non-Europeans. Toiletries (meaning shampoo, soap) were supposed to be provided but none was except hand soap in the bathroom. The shower doors don’t close properly hence the bathroom floor outside the shower gets wet. We were asked to sort our garbage and recyclables. Instructions were clear except for glass bottles. As visitors to Norway we are not familiar with what to do with glass bottles. Some information of places in the neighborhood where we can take bottles to would have been extremely useful.

This was easy for us for our weekend stay. The self check-in was not complicated, and the apartment was an easy 15 minute walk from the train station/downtown.

The apartment had what was needed, but just barely. There were two knives and two spoons, and no forks. Luckily, we ate outside the apartment. The balcony furniture has seen better days.
