    Pros +

    • Everything was truly fabulous! Angy and he colleague that setup a fabulous breakfast everyday to the housekeeping lady to Gisella on the desk...totally friendly and helpful with all of our questions and requests. There is no question in my mind that I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Napoli!!! Perfect location and wonderful rooms with very up to date technology and thoughtful touches in the rooms. John Lucca and his sister run a fine and very personal hotel in a city that can feel a little nuts at times. Best rainhead shower ever! If you are looking for a great value and a wonderful experience...you need to give this hotel every possible consideration...it just rocks!
    • Great location. The metro is right outside of the entrance and the central train station is a 15 min walk. Easy walk to the historical center. The property has a lift but you do have to walk up a few stairs to get to check-in. Breakfast was fantastic. The room was a good size with a stocked mini fridge. Our room was on the busy street but it was very quiet. The windows did a fantastic job of keeping the noise out. There wasn't any noise. I worked on our reservation with Gisella and she was great. Very communicative and helpful. Angela worked the breakfast and she was a joy to start our day with.
    • The suite was comfortable and the host was very friendly.

    Cons -

    • The elevator is a little bulky but likely more because of the workmanship doing the renovation in the stairway than anything else.
    • All good for us.
    • The small elevator to the hotel floor.

The property was clean, trendy and well soundproofed. The staff was warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful from the moment we booked to check-out for directions to the hotel and recommendations around the city.

    Room size and features

The only thing for us was the shower, the overhead (rain) leaked and we had to use the hose instead

Old world charm with excellent room amenities.

Obscure location despite being on a busy city corner. Sign and entrance were easily missed and took a while to find.

The owner Gian Luca was extremely helpful and friendly. He waited late for us, gave us a welcome Bellini and pastry, showed us all the features of our beautiful room, and gave us tips of where to go and what to see. The room was comfortable and quiet. Perfect. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. Angela, who arranged it, was delightful. We never write reviews and cannot recommend this property and the people associated with it highly enough.

    Nothing!

We stayed in Suite 505 in April 2025. The location is very good, with a metro stop at the front door. The hotel is in a historic building, the entrance to which appears untidy and access is via a very small lift. The facilities in our suite were first class - very modern, tastefully furnished with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was very spacious with a shower, separate bathtub, twin hand basins and a bidet. Our Suite had a large tv which swivelled round so you could watch in bed or from the separate lounge area. The front desk is operational 8am to 4pm daily and we found Gisella very welcoming and gave lots of helpful information. You can also contact Gisella by WhatsApp which we found helpful. Breakfast was good, and although the selection was modest, the quality was high.

The only downside we found was the lift. It's an old lift in an old building, so scope for improvements are limited. The issue is if someone doesn't manually shut the door on the 5th floor, the lift can't come down to collect you at ground level. If this happens when the front desk isn't staffed (after 4pm) you have no option other than to climb 5 flights of stairs. This happened to us 3 times in our 5 day stay.

Amadomus was the perfect location to explore Naples. The facilities and staff were exceptional. Everything was provided for a wonderful stay. Gisella was extremely helpful in suggesting places for us to explore. The breakfasts were delicious and our room always clean. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Naples.

We had a great stay!Everybody was friendly and made our trip as comfortable as possible. Starting with our first contact with Front Office Manager Gisella until our check out everything was good. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was good to start the day. The hotel was great to explore the city. We could walk to a lot of sightseeing spots and for wider distances we used the Metro in front of the hotel. It was also easy to reach the Station and get to Pompeii, Ercolano and the Vesuv.

+ excellent location at Piazza Nicola Amore, close to Duomo+ good value for money+ cosy, well-designed suites furnished with care and attention to detail + good breakfast + minibar in the room+ high quality toiletries + attentive front staff, support for transfers, places to visit, restaurant tips

These issues are indeed morning at a high level and not critical for the overall experience:- more variety from day-to-day for breakfast would be good, e.g., change of juices, egg/warm dishes (for instance, freshly cooked 3 min/soft eggs). Less of sweet bakery would be good.- would prefer generally lower room temperature. Currently 23-24C. 20-21C might be optimal. However, the levels may be lowered with the administration upon request for specific rooms.- beds a bit too hard for my perception; but comfortable enough- high noise level from traffic at the avenue just below the building. This makes sleeping with open windows impossible. Even more important is that the air conditioning may be flexibly installed in each room.

Room is spacious and beautifully designed. The bath room is grand. Good to have balcony with city view. Great location. The lovely Giselle is very helpful.

Juice and coffee could be better. Breakfast is basic but it's fine. The the venue is beautiful.

Great location. Really friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed and spotlessly clean room. Excellent breakfast too.

Gianluca was VERY helpful and did not lead us wrong! We ate very well because of his reccomendations!

Although it is close enough to walk to/from the train station....it was very difficult for us with both large and small size luggages, over very crowded, cobblestone sidewalks. I would advise a taxi.

Excellent location, secure and safe. Very friendly and gave use Excellent recommendations of places to see and eat. I would definitely recommend and book this place again.

Great staff - Good location near historical district.

    Very spacious room.

    10ShonaPosted on: 8-28-2024

Spacious room, friendly staff happy to help with recommendations, instructions on getting places, and organising taxi booking. Breakfast spread was great too.

There are some steps to get to reception from the elevator (which is mentioned in description), which may not suit some people.

    10TamiPosted on: 8-27-2024

Really nice and clean place with all the services you can expect and the location is perfect with everything you need walking distance, highly recommend. Gisella from the front desk was especially helpful.

Great place for Napoli. Sparkling clean, very helpful staff, welcome drinks and clear instructions, speaking several languages.Great breakfast with many options including salted breakfast and vegetarian options.Super comfortable bed and good location Beautiful balcony and view Well designed and everything is working in the room.

It's rather a B&B than a hotel (taking a floor in a building with a small reception/ breakfast space)We had a room just in the entrance - a door being straight at the end of the building stairs and next to the hotel reception, thus we were hearing all the people walking the stairs and coming/leaving. Also some drunk people (hotel guests we assume) were trying to enter in our room in the night and making noise (definitely not the hotel responsibility). In another hand the window was looking out on a big crossroad and even with great windows they have it's hard to isolate all noise. They are providing the earplugs but I advise to take a sleep mask also as there's some light you can't totally isolate. The place itself is great, just if you can - ask for a room far from the entrance
