Great location, very helpful staff, and nice room.

Spotty WiFi in our corner room.

Its calm area, beautiful view, short walk will lead you to the main tourist area.

The breakfast would be better to include more fresh fruits and juices.

Very nice hotel, great personal service from all of the staff. They let me do an early check in as soon as I arrived and made everything easier. Beautiful room, the location on the sea was breathtaking. It was clean and they even let me play the piano.

It is very expensive, especially when the hotel is not that big and does not offer many facilities. The breakfast was very good and high quality, but it could have been a lot more varied and they could have changed the itmes, because it was almost the same everyday.all in all, very nice hotel, but the value for money could have been bettet.

We loved this hotel! The location was amazing, the view was beautiful, and the room was great. Breakfast was delicious, much richer than a typical European breakfast and absolutely worth it during our 3-night stay. The staff parked our car for us, which was convenient, though the cost was a little high.

Reception was fine overall, though it was difficult to reach them by phone only one of my seven calls was answered, so I ended up going down to the desk for help. Parking was a bit pricey as well, and it would be nice if the €30 daily fee were included with the room. Other than these small inconveniences, our stay was lovely.

Classic luxury hotel that is slightly dated, but still very nice. Nice size room with quality fixtures. Beautiful breakfast area and nice selection. They prepared a to go breakfast when we told them we had to leave at 3:30AM. Staff every professional and attentive. Great restaurants walking distance. Taxi stand right next to hotel and the staff will get you one instantaneously. They allowed us to check-in at 12 noon which is unusual these days.

The city is doing improvements in the area which will be nice when completed. (streets and castle)

-Water drained very slowly in both the sink and shower-2 beds were joined together to form a big bed but I kept waking up in the gap between the 2 bed mattresses-piecee or furniture, mirror, light fixtures, floor, bathroom fixtures, desk mat, window frame, and walls looked very old, tired and abused.-price of $400 a night for an old an poorly working room-location is unbeatable, but considering the downsides, I would look for better options.

Beautiful room, very comfortable bed, clean and updated luxury property with excellent seaside location. Excellent location with stunning Vesuvio view, safe area even at night. Delicious breakfast is gorgeous dining room.

The bathroom really was uncomfortable . There wasn't any hot water in the sink it was difficult getting in and out of the tub and the floor was slippery. There were too many lights in the room and challenging to turn off

Location in a tranquil region of the city by lungomare. Staff, specially at the restaurant, was very nice.

Needs renovating. Very old style, classical is is ok, but all furnitures have seen better days. Bedrooms same thing… needs renovation. The problem is not the classical style, but everything is very old

Absolutely amazing location! The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable, beautifully updated, and spotlessly clean. The views were truly stunning — unforgettable experience. I would stay there again without a doubt.

The bathroom floor and shower/tub was very slippery.

The ambience, although reception staff no where near as friendly as they used to be years ago. Nevertheless. I still love The Santa Lucia.

Although reception staff a bit aloof, I would still return. Tell them to be like the Neopolitans of old, so warm!!!

Breakfast: variety and quality of food don’t live up to the high standards elsewhere

The location is amazing; the room was very large; housekeeping excellent.

It was very bright in the room at night (the hallway lights do not go off at night and there are big gaps in the door frame) and also very loud, if you have inconsiderate neighbors, you can hear every sound from the hallway.

Location excellent, dinner was great too. Staff at dinner was first class. Menu was limited but good.

Room had no bathrobe in batrhoom, Water was never hot, few large towels coming out of shower.Service at breakfast was mediocre. Staff waited for selection rather than being proactive. We had to ask for salt and pepper, then for butter etc etc

Rooms are noisy as walls are thin, the fitness room was under maintenance, no coffee makers (just kettle) in the room, on booking it says that “parking charges may apply” - I would say on the website that 1 night is 40€, a bit overpriced for what is offered
