Up Hotel

I arrived very late, and there is no front desk, so there was someone just answering a phone in Italian, only because there was someone to help me I could go inside, but it?s not a good neighborhood. Also there wasn?t hot water to take a shower

Friendly staff and fast check in and check out process

The check in process was a nightmare. We were told to be there at 2:00 and were kept waiting outside on the curb with our bags for over an hour. The cost for one night was €113, a total rip off.

The staf is very friendly, helpful and accessible. We needed to leave our luggage and we could leave them in our room after check out and pick it up in the evening. The luggage was brought to reception for us. The room is spacious, there were more than enough towels. The furniture is new (almost everything IKEA). We booked this last minute because the price was sharp.

It is very noisy outside and we get the building tremble several times. The rooms are very old, there was a large stain from water leakage on the ceiling and the halls are not clean.The floor in the bathroom did not look clean and we found leftovers in a drawer from a previous guest. It did not make me feel safe and this weighed heavy on my overall score.

When we first arrived the lights were not working, the room was ok but the beds were not very comfortable. There was a huge water leak stain on the ceiling. The bathroom was spacious but seemed old, the shower was super small and didn’t seem clean. Breakfast was supposed to be included but the “server” said our room number was not on the list and they didn’t have much there anyway. I messaged the property management about the rudeness of the server and did not get any response. The neighborhood was dirty but there are few restaurants that looked good, we ate at one and food was delicious. Only stayed one night there.

Location. Although near the train station is abit more dodgy but overall is good. Staff is good and friendly and there’s a cute golden retriever welcoming u at the lobby. Super cute.

I don’t like the smart lock for the room. Took me 10 mins to get in the room.

The hotel is in a great location close to the centrale train station. The rooms are large, basic, and clean. The owner has worked hard to turn a beautiful old Napoli building into good tourist accommodation. The breakfasts have all you need to eat on the go, and the staff member serving was pleasant and welcoming.

Just a few things are letting this place down from a 10 as a tourist hotel. The shower heads. A few other guests we spoke to had the same problem. The water sprays everywhere. The water pressure is good, so it should not be hard to fix. The lift is old, small, and makes strange sounds. We had a lot of smoke in our room. The owner said it was from an electrical fault with the fire alarm system.

Maybe homeless people around the place

Very friendly staff and great location. The aircondition was not work properly in the room but after my request, they changed the room without hesitation which is higlhy appreciated! Breakfast also really nice with a charming teras.

Elevator is slow

Staff Julia was very helpful and hotel is good. Location is super near by central station.

The Hotel is near Napoli Centrale train station, there are regional trains and metro lines. The center is away about 2-2.5km. The breakfast was ok, staff also, especially girl in the reception. Clean room with ac and tv, and terrace. I would come back again.

The neighborhood was little dirty, but Napoli is very dynamic.

The matress Air-conditioned Room space

Breakfast was very poor;Bathroom full of calcareous stains;Some furniture and bathroom sink looked like it was going to fall apart any moment we use it;The shower was very bad, couldn't regulate the temperature, and pressure was super low;Reception was unhelpful and rude. We found it close during normal expected working hours (8-20h). Requests went unanswered.Security was bad. "Hotel" was located on top of a residential building without a code protected door to separate from the main staircase (open access to everyone in the building). The side door for late night access was also sketchy since the code was the same for everyone with access to the courtyard.

Central and calm, clean and comfy rooms for the price

On the first night we arrived the staff told other guests that it was their room and at around 12am these guests were trying to open our doors and we got a big freight finding someone trying to walk in on you. The last night of our stay which was 2 nights we apparently mixed up our room booking we cleared out the wrong room . The other couple with us had an extra night all our items including the other couples were removed from the room with out advising us. When had they noticed the room we had was already cleared out. I personally was very upset that all our items were touched and taken out of the room we thought was safe for the third night. Communication level ZERO. VERY DISSAPOINTED.

We payed 625 euros for 10 people. My room for 2 costed 150 euros. I would not spent more than 50 euros in this place. In booking the pictures are deceiving not as much for the rooms but the hotel in general. We entered from a side entrance with a pin code, then went through a glass door with no entry restriction and went up to the fifth floor with the elevator. There was an open door with no safety restriction and then the corridor of the rooms with insufficient lighting. All the members of our group felt insecure from the one door (the one with the pin) that protected us from the area that is not in a good location even though it is close to the center. The bathroom in my room the moment we turned on the light the ventilator made so much noise that you could hear from the rooms next to us. In my friend's room the toilet (not the seat but all the toilet) moved from side to side as if it was not glued to the floor. This is definatelly a health and safety issue. We told all the above to the owner and he said that this is normal. We have taken videos for anyone to see the state of the hotel in case of dispute.

The location was ok as it was near the station. Just that! Nothing else. Just that. Nothing more to write.

No reception on Sunday, very basic hotel and it was expensive for what was offered. Breakfast was very simple as well and would be better if they offered a la carte. No space to hold baggage. WiFi signal was oscillating all the time.

Close to the center and to the train statiom

- Breakfast was bad- The shower draining aystem was not working and the bathroom was getting flooded- We asked repeatedly the staff to fix it but didn t do anything about it- Dodgy location- Dirty towels- The receptiom was closed almost all the time, and we could not find someone to communicate- We had a very hard time leaving our luggage the last day for storage

Super good for that price. Breakfast was fine (nothing special but totally fine). Room was really clean and nice. Shower is bit small but totally ok. Location is really close to the train station, which is perfect. Lots of people say they didnt like the location in the comments but first - you knew it before you coming and second - what do you expect. Napoli is all really dirty so this part is definitely not worse than the others. I will totally recomend it.
