Pros +
- Hotel room was not clean and we checked out early and lost 1 nights stay because they wouldn¿t refund me.
- Location
- hotel was very clean and well located. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Cons -
- The shower was so clogged that it flooded the bathroom. The floor was dirty and they didn¿t allow you to bring outside food into the room.
- The hotel was dusty and could have been cleaner. The bar was never open, it took about 10mins to find someone to open it then we would be served one drink then they left!. The restaurant only opened for a no very good breakfast fruit pies and cake, dubious meats and cheese the only good item was the fresh small bread rolls, never opened for lunch and only served dinner if you were with a group of 20 or more, this is not made clear on your info. The bedroom was large but not much furniture only a dusty wardrobe to put clothes in, no AC unit in the bedroom. The advertised terrace bar and restaurant was closed, this was a problem because there were not many places to eat close by that were open in the evening.
- The hotel was located on a main road which I wouldn't have a problem with. However the hotel does not have double glazing which means that you hear every car, every car or scooter horn until 2am in the morning, music from the bars below. Literally every noise of a city. The shower also was poor and leaked. The fridge still had goods inside from previous room occupants

Worse night's sleep in a long time

That was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Absolutely awful. I’m not going to go into details about the bathroom…as it was terrible. The room they gave us was for disabled people, I don’t know why. The staff at the reception were nice.
The room, the floor, the bathroom, the pillows- all awful
Staff were wonderful could not have been more welcoming or helpful ? spoke great English.. hotel was spotless and historic . The botanical gardens are amazing
The area directly around the hotel was a little rundown... still safe but rubbish and graffiti spoiled the lovely buildings
The hotel is an oasis in the mist of the chaotic city center of naples. Everything works properly and on time, the stuff is super kind and helpful and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Our room was actually very big, with big wardrobe and 3 huge windows that had a view in the city center, the capodimonti hilll and the botanical garden. The water pressure and the temperature of the water in the bathroom was absolutely perfect!!! Since it was really cold these days in Naples, we enjoyed this a lot. Also the breakfast is value for money. A lot of sweet options and a few savory (this is quite normal in Italy, to have a sweet for breakfast). Extra bonus: They stuff was also flexible when we requested to add breakfast only for one person of the room.
Some minor restorations(not even a renovation) in the bathroom could be of use.
The hotel has nicely furnished and spacious rooms. It is located right in the historic center of naples.
The area is really busy and therefore quite noisy.
Good position but hotel needs uplifting. Furnishings are old and shabby looking instead of lifting up the history it makes it look worn. Bathroom had a smell to it.
Bathroom was small and smelly with no windows or fan for ventilation
Size of room. Good shower
The location was dire! Under flightpath to airport and on a main road that was incredibly noisy. Our friends had a room at the front and could not sleep. Hotel surrounded by squalor and poverty. Rubbish and dirt everywhere.
Lovely hotel in the centre of Naples near to the airport (€21 taxi ride for 4 to airport) Hotel staff were lovely and helpful. The room was massive. Very comfy. Fridge provided with water, towels, hand wash, shampoo, and shower gel. Air-conditioning. We had room 404. Would definitely stay again.
Only location
Staff are disaster unfriendly at all , hotel very dirty nothing related to photos they list , I couldn't sleep all night because of air cooling not working well in middel of july and fan sound like motor and they disconnect landline so you can't even call to ask for help
not much
Charging 10 euros for that breakfast was a ripp off. They even charged for my 2 year old, even though he was sleeping the whole time. Some old pastry which had been there for weeks, bad coffey and nothing elsr
The staff were obligingly helpful and kind!Position of the hotel is great.
Rooms and bathrooms need a bit of renovation. Rooftop terrace has great potential if groomed a bit more.
The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful including Fabio the barman who came up to the terrace to deliver drinks for us from the bar. The location is great for the metro only a short walk. We managed to get to Pompeii comfortably in a day and to the beach. I would recommend I don't know why it has had some bad reviews we really enjoyed it!
It was fairly noisy but in a city centre what do you expect.
After reading several reviews I was a bit concerned however everyone was very welcoming, check in was quick. We were given a lovely room with air-conditioning and a good shower in the large bathroom. This hotel is exceptional value for money. I would definitely return.
Coffee machine for breakfast was a bit hit and miss, however breakfast staff would also serve you coffee at the table which was much better.
It's fine for one night, the staff are very friendly.
The neighborhood gave me the impression of being unsafe and dirty.
- Wi-Fi worked well- they checked us in early, which was very appreciated
- there was no coffee machine in the room- the bedsheet were uncomfortable - the location was far from the center- the hallways smelled like toilet - they allowed group of teenagers to check in the hotel. One morning they started smoking at 6am, so the fire alarm went off and wouldn’t stop for at least half an hour
The rooftop, comfortable bed and helpful staff
The bathroom is very old and small
The hotel location is great as it is near the historic center, the archeological museum and close to the airport.
I think that better cleaning of breakfast cutlery is required.
