Arriving at the building was a bit concerning since the building is a bit run down. However, once you enter the hotel, it’s like entering a different world. It was clean and comfortable.

Our one night stay at Au Room was great but truthfully, it was a functional stop. We were flying out of Naples so stayed one night to more easily catch our flight the next morning. The place itself was great, very clean. Amazing staff! It was a 5 minute walk from the train station, so super easy to get to. But, it's a 5 minute walk from the train station, so there's a certain element of sketchiness on the street. That being said, it was totally fine, safe, always busy, easy walk to the center of the incredibly vibrant old town of Naples - restaurants, bars, shops. The property is on the 2nd floor of a building and not the most welcoming outside, but once you come in, it's all good. The staff was absolutely fantastic. They booked us a driver to the airport, they gave us restaurant recommendations, just super great and helpful. We did a half-day trip to Pompei and easily walked from Au Room to our tour meeting spot. Au Room is very central to literally everything.

Very clean room, accesible to the center of the city, very comfortable. Breakfast was very good to start the day and the staff was excellent . Also, as a solo traveler, I felt very secure.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were truly exceptional, friendly, respectful, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to provide excellent service. They are honestly some of the best accomedation staff we have ever met.The accomedation is very clean, the rooms are big, spacious, and well-designed. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the downtown area, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view.Overall, this is truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

There wasn’t anything I actually disliked, but there are a few things that could be improved: the entrance of the building from the ground level could look better, the elevator could be more nicely maintained, and the breakfast could have a bit more variety.

Very good facilities, very comfortable bed, pillow options, good shower. The staff was super friendly. Since we were leaving very early in the morning they gave us a late night meal that was more than we expected.They allowed us a early check in at no extra charge.

The area surrounding is very messy and dirty ( unfortunately most of Naples City ). You will never imagine such a nice and clean accommodation in that building.

Very nice room. Close to Train station. Great for a one night stop off like we did coming from Amafi. Room. Was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and considerate.

I'd we were to stay in Naples for a longer period, we would look elsewhere as the neighborhood was very dark and not quite up to our standards for feeling safe. We did not stay out past dark.

The breakfast was fresh; had a variety of items (pastries fruits, meats, eggs, toast, cereals, juices).The staff were all so friendly and helpful; they spoke English well, which we needed! The room was comfortable and met our needs very well.

The street entrance to the building was typical of the location in Naples, Italy, but was not attractive at first glance. AuRoom likely had no say in this condition. But the building was safe, with locks & keys. We had no concerns about it once we first went inside.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They accommodated us with earlier check-in and recommended great itinerary of places to see and restaurants in Naples. Aldo in particular was very helpful when we had some late night requests and had to check-out very early in the morning to catch early flights.

The breakfast was very good. The staff accommodated me with gluten free options. The staff greeted us every morning with smiles. Asked about our plans what we had seen the day before. Made suggestions, were very knowledgeable about attractions and restaurants the staff Vittorio Cinzia Aldo Rosalin were amazing and made our stay welcoming comfortable and were very knowledge able and professional. We enjoyed! Thank you.

Placement of the TV made it difficult to watch anywhere but the bed; it would have been nice if the tv brackets could swivel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a lot of effort to ensure our visit is comfortable. The hotel itself is very clean, quite and pleasant to stay. It is also in close proximity to the old city and its attractions.

The hotel is clean and very comfortable but the area outside the hotel is filthy and not pleasant (obviously - its not the hotel's responsibility).

The rooms are located very close to Piazza Garibaldi and the train station. Breakfast was good, the areas were very clean and the staff was fantastic. Vitto and Cinzia were extremely helpfull and professional. Thanks for all the help we received from you!!

Run by three young hosts, Aldo, Cinzia and Vittorio, who are friendly, kind and always available. They will welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home. Nice and elegant place. Pleasant atmosphere. Varied breakfast. Very conveniently located, close to the main train station and the city center. Despite facing a main street, the windows shield the room well from the outside noise. Second floor with lift.

There isn't much to say here,, but since I'm asked I'll mention a couple of minor things that shouldn't discourage from booking a stay at this accommodation. I realized that there are rooms of different sizes: the one we occupied wasn't particularly big. The towels tend to stay wet, thus the most demanding guests might want to have them replaced regularly.
