Cleanliness of room, kind and helpful staff

The room was already very warm in February (being on the top of the building), making it hard to sleep.

It's a modern feel hotel on the 5th floor of a building right by the Vanvitelli Metro entrance. Also round the corner from the Funicolare entrance that takes you down into central Naples - so a convenient quiet, local location. The room was warm, comfortable enough and had a view of Vesuvius in the distance. Breakfast was ample. The staff were helpful.

The shower was quite slippery and with a glass wall felt a little unsafe.

Perfect base to discover Naples. Easy access to centre via Funicolare and easy ride to airport. Some good restaurants nearby.

The elevator to the second floor

Great location close to public transportation and some bars and restaurants. But at the same time in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Great spot to visit Naples during the day and relax in the evening.

Staff very friendly and helpful, room was clean and spacious, breakfast was decent if you are looking for a bit of everything. Great low key area, close to.metro line and just next to funicular that takes you in.les than10.minutes directly to the lower parts of the city where all the action is if that is what you fancy.

Its not really an issue but the towel change happens every 2 days but i asked for an new one sonce mine was still wet and the conscierge gave me an other one with a smile and zero fuss. Again very friendly and helpful.

Location - very convenient access to public transport, to see major tourist sites - excellent helpful staff - clean comfortable room - great view - excellent breakfast - good value for money

A minor issue - when watching something on TV there were a lot of channels but none were in English

The location is very good, close to cafes, restaurants and shopping in a nice area. Metro is just outside the building to get to the old town. The hotel is at the fifth floor of an old building but the rooms are modern with all the facilities. My room and the bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable, the wifi and air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was also very good. My room was not very good sound proof and lighting could be better. The staff were polite, friendly and very welcoming. Stay again if next time in the city and highly recommended.

The elevators did not work very well

Good breakfast and location (quick taxi ride from the airport). OK value for money.

Rooms are clean but not in best shape. One cupboard wouldn’t close which kept banging into the bathroom door. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut property. Some of the furniture and fixtures were damaged.

Quieter nicer location compared to the historic centre which we personally found a bit hectic. Room size was good, staff helpful in arranging our early morning taxi. Very short walks to public transport hub which was great.

One little thing: nowhere to hang wet towels! We experienced a bit of noise from the street but it didn’t last past midnight.

Well designed room with great shower and jacuzzi bath. Large comfy bed with lovely view across the bay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice part of the city but expensive to get to if using taxis. Metro access is good.

Hadn't realised that the hotel is on the fifth floor of the building with a small lift for access or a long climb up the stairs. Traffic in city makes taxi journeys long and pricey

Nice place, good people, comfortable bed.

Air conditioning broken and stuck on heating mode room got up to 30 at night and it wasn’t even hot outside.

It was all very good

I am a regular at the hotel Cimarosa. Staying here is a quintessentially Neapolitan experience, which I recommend to everyone interested in living the city as one would have in the first decades of the XX century. The building, with its retro marble stairs, quaint elevator, and doorman who could be an extra in a Neapolitan comedy; the location, next to two iconic Funicolare stations that take you straight into the heart of the ancient city and the elegant Chiaja neighborhood; and the hospitality of the staff and modern design of the rooms. The Hotel Cimarosa is not the Vesuvio or the Excelsior, two wonderful hotels I go to when I feel rich, but is an ideal choice for those of us who privilege real life over luxury.

I have only one negative comment: plumbing is defective in a few of the rooms and I encourage the management to make sure is fixed to prevent funky odors to seep up...

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Cimarosa! The rooms were modern and super clean, which I loved. The staff was really responsive and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. The original elevator from the older building added such a cool charm to the place—definitely a fun part of the Italian experience! Manuele was amazing, always friendly, responsive and helpful, making my stay even better. I would stay again.

Room large , very comfortable nice decor . Very Good breakfast but no vegetables . Good location , Quiet area and fine transport , close to all attractions of vomero . Funicular to Napoli center .

Hotel is 4-5 floors of the building (elevators ok). No office thru night hours (but very welcome and helpful when available)
