Pros +
- Good location Considering what the rest of Naples looks like. Room was clean, but very little in the way of covers on the bed.Just a sheet and one thin blanket. Enjoyed heated towel rack in the bathroom.Great for helping dry laundry.
- Safe quiet location, friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast, air conditioning, good bathroom, elevator, wheelchair friendly
- Clean, wonderful staff, very helpful when I was trying to find it, even came out to meet me.
Cons -
- It may say that there is a restaurant and a bar. But there is neither. there are staff who will get you a drink or something to eat. But there is no actual restaurant or bar to speak of. There is a dining area on the first floor but the breakfast is on the second floor and there are no signs on the first floor to tell you this.
- Walls are VERY thin. I could perfectly hear a normal conversation of my neighbors. Had trouble sleeping because of this.
- There was no response at the gate despite our one-time arrival and we had to wait on the street with our luggage until other guests opened the gate to leave (not fun when it's 95 degrees outside). The bedding was a bit scratchy and the blanket appeared to be stained or dirty with something white. The toilet ran the entire time we were there. There are a limited number of electrical outlets in the room and none next to the far side of the bed. The room smelled strongly of cleaner/alcohol upon arrival and the air conditioner did not work for half of our trip; it was very stuffy in the room. You have to ask the front desk to manage the room temp and the gentleman there could not figure out how to work/fix it. We were quite miserable at night and unable to sleep in 81+ degree heat with no fans or breeze. While they did offer another room, the AC was fixed before the new room was available. We had a difficult time communicating with the front desk staff in English which made the heat situation that much worse. At checkout time, we were unable to find staff to assist. Although staff was pleasant, between the language barrier and facilities issues, I would not return.

Convenient location to train. Nice outdoor garden. Room was generally clean and a decent size as Italian accomodations go.

Clean, close to the marina, well maintained
The hotel was very clean, adorable and in a good location. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast has a variety to choose from and all of them were tasty .I highly recommend it. ? Mary
Breakfast was great - especially Fabio. What a gem !! And he provided excellent service!
Your receptionist was cold. Could have been more inviting.
This hotel has a few things going for it: it has a library, an interior garden and a rooftop terrace. The rooms are OK and the beds even very good. It's close to metro Mergellina and there's a bus stop right in front of it.
But there are also quite a few downsides: breakfast is one of the worst I've ever had in a hotel, certainly one in this category (industrial bread, cheese, fruit juice). Staff is friendly but not very skilled, they couldn't help us with issues that were the slightest bit complicated (how to use Netflix, which was installed on TV's, for instance), we didn't insist anymore after a while. In theory it has a bar and a restaurant, but meals are only on reservation. The bar is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, there was a private event on Wednesday, and on Thursday it was also closed although it was supposed to be open. We gave up after that, the opening hours are simply too irregular. There is a minibar (included in the room price) but it has no wine or beer, which means that if you want to relax in the garden or on the rooftop, you have to bring your own alcoholic drinks from outside (the reception cannot accommodate you either). Our overall impression was that this hotel lacks soul and is badly in need of a new, or at least a more dynamic, management. Disappointing.
A very beautiful place, very nice rooms, very good breakfast, very close metro stop. But what wins you over in this hotel is the people who work there and try to serve you as best as they can. incredible kindness. thank you to the people at the reception as well as dear Fabio in the breakfast area whom we are very lucky to have met. When we are in Naples again we will definitely choose the same hotel
private car parkamazing breakfast
bed
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was nice, and most importantly, there was a secure parking spot for our car.
20 euros per day for parking is a very high fee; I hadn’t noticed this when making the reservation, but we had already arrived at the hotel and decided to stay. The breakfast was bad. The bed was terrible. The air conditioner was in front of the window, and when you opened the curtain for the air conditioner to blow on you, the inside was visible from outside. The air conditioner remote control didn’t work.
Everything and the politeness if the staff. Very clean and beautiful property.
The shower cubicle was a bit narrow.
Good location walking distance to restaurants and waterfront. Room was ok. Nice breakfast friendly welcoming staff. Upstairs terrace and gated parking
No pool
Location - There are a lot of attractions near the hotel (only 2 to 3 train stops away), eg the Galleria, the Naples historic centre. The waterfront is within walking distance! The hotel settings - lots of the interesting features of the former friar convent have been preserved. The staff - very helpful and thoughtful, taking care of the small details.
Very good hotel, high standard bedroom. Breakfast had what we needed and staff was really nice.
location was good. Felt safenice breakfast with lots of options
no safe for valuables Asked for additional tea and coffee in room ... still waiting!!!
The Palazzo is located near a train/subway station and in a beautiful, quiet, safe area; it's also at walking distance from the sea. The staff is very kind and attentive, the breakfast great, and the hotel and terrace beautiful.
I don't give it 10 out of 10 for 2 reasons, I was in room 105 and for some reason the AC is below the window in a sort of hollow space that becomes completely hidden when the curtains are closed, rendering the AC useless as the cold air becomes trapped behind the curtains; I had to sleep with the curtains open and there's light coming in from nearby buildings and also of course the sun woke me up in the morning. The other reason is that there's a gate separating the facility from the streets and to get in you have to ring a bell and wait for the receptionist to open, this could be easily fixed by having your room key open that as well.
really good place, close to the metro station, staff is very friendly and polite. we had a good time there.
the air conditional is central and we couldn't turn it off. my partner got sick because was too cold in the room and the blankets were not warm enough even though we asked for extra blankets
Nothing, terrible corrupt business, avoid at all costs
I didn't like the dishonesty of the owners. We suffered a cancelled flight so informed the hotel as soon as we could that we were delayed but still coming. We had prepaid in full and were merely delayed but out of courtesy informed them we would be running late. Their response was to cancel our booking and keep our money. Booking. Com have been terrible at assisting. It's clear from the various reviews that this hotel is shockingly bad and also clear that when things go wrong Booking. Com are worse than useless
Had a truly amazing stay! We stayed here for ten nights, and had a great room with a patio view of Mount Vesuvius. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the room was extremely clean. The hotel is a 4 minute walk to the L2 and a 7 minute was from the L9, we were able to get around by public transport the first week with no issues. We rented a car the last two days and it was very easy to reserve a parking space at the hotel for overnights. There are a ton of choices for breakfast, and made to order coffee and hot chocolate as well. There was a ton of storage space in the room for clothing, and electrical outlets near the bed. There was a towel warmer in the bathroom, that worked great for drying bathing suits after days at the beach. There are a ton of great restaurants within walking distance, it was great to walk along the harbor each night a pick a new place to eat each time.
There is really nothing that I didn't like! The bathroom could use a couple additional hooks for hanging towels?
