Castletroy Park Hotel

Disgusting avoid this hotel , rooms are not as shown on the photos. I asked for a refund and still didn’t get a feed bac

Dirty room , bugs I left didn’t even stay had to rent an other hotel.

It was filthy.

Old. All furniture and walls were destroyed. Not maintained. Couldn’t give us a refund to leave. It was dirty. Fridge had mold—totally disgusting and actually made my five year old sick. It was a horrific stay. Shower was cold. The staff was kind but the hotel is dirty. Hotel is a club to college students— gym is packed at all hours of day and pool locker room was like a subway station. Disgusting.

bed hard as a rock, all the fixtures in bathroom worn or broken. no hot water to tub, porcelain sink cracked, paint in bad repair, aquatic center dirty and in bad repair

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff

The central air conditioning system broke and staff was very helpful in trying to figure out a way to cool down our room

They were unable to change our room for the first night of the malfunctioning central air

Nice rooms, nice hotel and bar restaurant. 35 minute drive to Shannon airport. Short drive to Limerick city center.

No hot water in the early morning do to boiler maintenance.

Spacious. Comfortable beds. Beautiful hotel. Bar staff accommodated our take-away dessert request for kids. Very polite. Had everything we needed.

This hotel was very nice. Nicely decorated. It had all of the amenities that we needed. It was very clean and had super friendly staff.

The complimentary breakfast was fabulous.

No coffee maker in the room. Pillows were inferior, need to be replaced. No ventilation in the room. Parking lot was very congested and blocked by construction, without any signage that they were blocking the one way lane and had to back up 10 or more car lengths.

Convenient location. Clean comfortable room. Dinner was tasty. Reception staff was excellent.

We struggled with the blazing sun on our dinner table. Toward the end of the meal our waitress disappeared and we never saw her again. Had to search out someone to pay the check.

Located in the suburbs of Limerick this hotel was an overnight for us on our Irish road trip. Turned out to be an east and shoirt drive into medieval Limerick (King John's Castle) for sightseeing. There is a Spar convenience mart across the parking lot of the hotel which we appreciated finding. The room itself was of decent size and comfortable. Would stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

Unfortunately, the hotel internet system was out of order - turns out that it was an outage that affected a significant part of the area and not just the property. Was a bit disappointed that the hotel didn't proactively offer a condolence for the inconvenience such as a complimentary beverage in the bar.

Room was small for 4 people. Window wouldn't open and air-conditioning was questionable.

The rooms and halls are so dated and paint is chipped off the skirting boards , doors and furniture in the room, the carpet on the stairs is disgusting and stinks , stained,must be down since it was built, shocking, and the bathroom was old and dated with no ventilation, we were a family of 4 and they only left in 2 towels had to request more, we were at the back of the court yard nice view but had to listen to the noise of voices and music from a party downstairs until all hours, breakfast set up was ridiculous, you sit in 2 different rooms and the buffet and miserable selection of pastries breads and fruit were all in one small space so you have to walk from one room to another, staff were friendly, poor quality hotel, the pool was miserable ok for small kids 4ft deep, couldn't swim in it and it was freezing as was the changing rooms were bitter cold , over all this hotel in my opinion is not worth staying in versus other hotels in Ireland, I know where not to go again, looks nice when you walk in yes lovely looking bar/ restaurant all dome up nice but the upstairs is the opposite , some of the lights in the bedroom did not work,

Breakfast was good but we were part of a group Who were away for night together n we couldn’t have tables together for breakfast.

We went to the restaurant for a meal on the sat earlyEvening,the staff were lovely but we felt the manager Wasn’t interested in the big group,he was reluctant to give us a table big enough for the number of people,

Staff were very good very accommodating and kind rooms were spotless food was excellent great hotel bar area is lovely and foyer.staff really helpful great location pool sauna and gym is great

Staff were excellent Hotel a bit dated but can see with building works they are expanding so perhaps a full refurb due?We were only there for 1 night...room was very small for anymore than that...

Staff were so lovely, loved the breakfast and the coffee area. Dinner was great but they forgot a few things but easily sorted.

The changing rooms at the pool had a smell. The entrance to.the hotel from.the car park is underwhelming and a bit dishevelled.

Staff were pleasant and helpful.

No hot shower after swim in the morning. Hairdryer was broken.
