Pros +

  • Convenient to everything. Room is functional and clean but very basic and small for 2 adults for 3 nights.
  • Very helpful and friendly staff. The food (hamburger) in the bar was excellent as was the beer and the service. Excellent location. This was very important to us.
  • Great location to be in the heart of Galway. Above a charming pub with live music.

Cons -

  • The location can be noisy. You hear the beep of the walk/don't walk street lights throughout the night. Not to mention the weekend crowds. The room is above a bar so we expected noise/bands. Bar closes early and crowds slim down so not too noisy beyond 12
  • It was expensive for the star rating. It should be a 2*. We recommend you stay here if you are happy with this type hotel. It was noisy at night but this should be understood because of the location.
  • It was a basic hotel room, but clean and the staff was very friendly. Its great to be right upstairs from a nice pub and so close to multiple other bars and places to eat, just be aware the tradeoff is it stays pretty noisy pretty late.

Location

Room was literally 110 sq ft and overpriced. Would be great as a hostel room at about a third of the cost.
