Hotel Villa du Taur - Capitole & Basilique St Sernin

Location, staff, breakfast, comfort, style. If travelling by car, you can unload at the hotel and park at public parking St Joan a short walk away, which we did with our two dogs - worked well for us.

Bookings over booked us. I was just looking at this one, but reserved a room somewhere else. Email and called booking to notify, but no response. Unable to cancel reservation at either spot. Won’t use bookings.com again.

The breakfast was very good, great quality products. Great downtown location to explore Toulouse.

It can get tricky to get there with luggages as it’s mostly a pedestrian area.

Centrally located, clean, spacious

Comfortable, clean quiet room in town centre. Step out into city on a quiet street....just a 10 minutes stroll to the central square....where we enjoyed breakfast sitting outside as the sun rose. Ideal location. We enjoyed a beautifully presented evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Good value, centrally located hotel. We would readily stay here again.

Glad our room had a separate toilet within the room, wouldn't have liked it in the open plan style shower area of the main room.

Although the rooms were compact, everything was done very nicely and the design was good. All that one needed us there, spotlessly clean, and the staff were a delight.

Nice, small boutique hotel right next door to St Sernins church in the heart of the city.

The location was perfect. Very good breakfast ....Room comfy .

The bathroom definitely needs a lot of work , no where to put your toiletries , wet room very tired & not in keeping with the 4* rating or price .

The hotel is in the perfect location, just 15 minute walk from the station and right in the centre of Toulouse, close to the main monuments and with a vast choice of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. I loved the Espresso machine in the room and the toiletries in the bathroom. The biggest issue I found was the room - door and ceiling - was not well insulated and it got a bit noisy. I could hear people coming in and out of the rooms, talking and walking in the corridor, and even using showers and toilets upstairs.

Lovely boutique hotel in a superb location. Excellent, helpful and friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 5 nights and were happy with the service and facilities throughout. Lovely breakfast which accommodated my fussy dietary needs (gluten and lactose intolerant). Staff were knowledgeable about the area and local attractions and willing to converse both in French and English. Alexander and Estelle, in particular, were fantastic, though all staff were super helpful and polite. Would highly recommend for a few days either for a peaceful break in a gorgeous city or as a business trip stopover.

Comfort, modern amenities, fantastic location, atmosphere, intimacy, sound proofing is excellent.

The (half) glass walls in the bathroom - lovely from a design view point but lacks intimacy. It was ok as a couple but not with a friend or teenagers.
