Hôtel d'Orsay Grand Matabiau

Friendly staff, nice location

Friendly staff and good location ...and hotel water in shower and bath

Noisy air con. Bed not very comfortable

Friendly staff

Room floor old and stained. Noisy AC even when stopped.

Very large comfortable bed.Excellent choice for breakfast.Proximity to station but very quiet .

The hotel is very conveniently located, just opposite the main train station of Toulouse and in close proximity to metro stations. The room, plus bathroom and separate toilet are all quite spacious. I especially appreciated having a kettle in the room. The hotel is spotless throughout and all of the staff are impeccably polite and welcoming.

We were upgraded, at no charge, to a twin room. Allowed to check in to our room before expected check in time. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. They stored our luggage (FOC) after check out giving us a few more hours to explore Toulouse prior to our departure. Perfect location for the main station in Toulouse and on the shuttle bus route to the airport.

It is hard to find something negative to say. There was some traffic noise in the morning. The kettle lead did not reach the plug unless we put it on the floor.

Welcoming staff and great storage for our bikes. Great location for catching the train.

It was really close to the train station, but it was quiet, and especially so because they were nice enough to give me a room in the back also since I have trouble sleeping.

The only thing I wish they would've had is a mini fridge, not a necessity, but is always nice in any hotel. And a plug in the bathroom would be nice for doing your hair.

Great location and lovely staff. Basic but comfortable room, perfect for one night on transit

Decent breakfastQuiet room with blackout blinds so I could sleep in after a late fligth arrivalComfortable bedReally friendly receptionist

Difficult to stop water from shower spraying all over the bathroom

location, room very clean

shower in bath had no curtain or glass wall

Very central to the train station.

It’s very dated. Could do with a good refresh of facilities - the toilet is a tiny room inside the bathroom. The bathroom suite needs updating so you don’t have to climb out of the bath from taking a shower.

The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly

The room is small. Its just fine for solo or couple with minimum luggage

Warm welcome, spotless room, great view to garden at rear, not woken by the sounds of the city, great breakfast.‘Gascons’ photo not from this hotel - can’t delete, apologies.

Bathroom was a little dated and no shower curtain.

Location is excellent (10 min walk to center and right across from train station) . The room was spacious and clean! The Staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

Clean and well set out rooms and comfy bed

Traffic noise and lots of noisy people on the street

Perfect location and friendly staff

Very basic room quality

The hotel is located opposite the main SNCF station, Gare Matabiau, in Toulouse. As we had an early train this suited us perfectly. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel met our expectations of it's online profile on booking.com.

Slightly better quality sheets would be of benefit to make for a more comfortable sleeping experience. Due to its central location it was noisy throughout the night. However the hotel has soundproofed the windows which helped to block out some of the noise.

Great location central and accessible to the city. Comfortable and welcoming. Great staff!

Bit of a dodgy neighbourhood at night but the hotel has a lovely quiet garden area at the back if wanting to sit out! Really liked all about this hotel!

It was very close to Matabiau Station which was essential. Room clean, shower water hot, comfy bed, staff friendly plus spoke English. Lift/elevator to upper floors. Easy to find on map and very short walk from airport shuttle bus.

Nothing particular. Breakfast simple but adequate.
