    Pros +

    • Great location and I had a wonderful room on the second floor with a balcony Small but clean and comfy!
    • Great location next to Basilica St Sernin and the lovely pedestrian area around there. Lovely cafe on the pavement. We arrived by train and it is an easy walk from the station. Main sights of the old town of Toulouse are nearby.Breakfast was excellent. Good choice and quality.Staff friendly and helpful
    • The staff was very accommodating to my needs. I had a flight delay and an early departure and they helped me with both. On a second stay they facilitated an early departure and secured a cab for me. All done with the utmost care. I also loved that I was so very close to St. Sernin, and a short walking distance from all of the attractions of the city center.

    Cons -

    • Not sure about the front desk closing at 9 PM. That seems kind of early.!?
    • Nothing that I didn't like, but other Americans might have some reservations about the age of the building and the small size of the room. But those things don't concern me. Also, people who are mobility challenged, the elevator doesn't service the ground floor. Again, not a problem for me, but a warning for others.
    • No elevator from ground floor.Door loud when opening/closing.Half windows (3rd floor).

Hotel St. Sernin is a fabulously located hotel right next to the Basilica St. Sernin. We looked out over the Basilica. The staff are lovely. The hotel is a little on the boho side, but comfortable and fun. The location is unbeatable. The room is small, but it's pretty much what we expected and the bed is excellent and we had a darling balcony we could sit out on. Quick walk to the Capitoline area.

The view of St. Cernin, paid extra.

Shabby one-storey walk-up. Tiny elevator to 3rd floor. Dreary atmosphere altogether. No balcony (as booked) due to construction work. Bath and shower arrangements impossible: no curtain, standing shower in open space bathtub (!) results in flooding. WC door sticks, tiny space. Wifi breaks up at any moment, constant reconnection necessary. Reception often not open, staff doing their best. Breakfast avoided due to poor reviews, bars around the corner adequate. Toulouse in general in steep decline.

My second room over looked the square and was quite noisy, late into the night. Also the church bells chimed every hour up until midnight. The room was super and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was limited and only a continental. There were also some broken tiles in the bathroom.

Initial room on first floor was quite small, however it was very clean and the bedding was good. On the second morning I woke up and there were large numbers of ants in the room. Coming from the bathroom door frame. Fortunately I was moved.

The hotel has a great location. For those who are not longing for modern accommodation this hotel is the right choice. Everything was good, In case I am in Toulouse one day would surely stay there again.

Because I have used to another kind of breakfast the meal was not sufficient for me. I would recommend to ask the foreign guests about their preferencies.

Location, location! This hotel is truly on the square at the beautiful St. Sernin Basilica. We stood on the balcony and appreciated the breeze and the comings and goings below. The desk manager was extremely helpful and advised us on bus travel options and walking directions. Would highly recommend.

Lots of stairs, so be warned.

The gentleman who assisted us throughout our stay was absolutely fabulous. I wish I had asked his name but I'm certain he is the manager or owner. Helped with our bags, gave us suggestions, prepared extra breakfast for us, etc. Hotelier extraordinaire!

I must have missed the fact that there is no elevator from the ground floor to first floor. We had numerous bags so it wasn't easy. Anyone with mobility challenges should be aware. Standard room is only 14sqm so book larger room if you need it.

Room was very clean and comfortable The location is excellent.

    Room was small.

Amazing location. Short walk to everything. Beautiful room, lovely balcony looking onto basilica. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Powerful shower

Excellent location, staff very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable but small. Reasonably quiet some noise from the street until late. you have to climb a set of stairs before you get into reception. Not a problem unless you have a heavy bag! Good value

The size of the room was small. Location was exceptional. The staff really went out of there way to help. Amazing.

Location of this hotel was excellent, quiet & yet central to center. The room was adequate, clean & bathroom clean with excellent shower. I travelled alone & felt safe in room, very little noise, despite no staff on the premises from 9pm. Staff very nice & helpful.

There was no coffee in room, just tea which was a little disappointing but I coped. I was a little anxious that no staff would be on the premises from 9pm but it worked out.

    The location

I took the option of room with balcony, but didn’t get itThe owner said they only have 2 rooms with balcony and it is Booking fault to put it for all the roomsBut if I remembered correctly there was the option with or without balcony

Very quirky split accommodation made it different. In the old town.

Walked across the street for breakfast. Quite expensive, not really a hotel.
