Residhotel Cannes Festival

Stay away!! Straight out of a horror movie. Dirty and disgusting. Stains all over the wall and rugs. Dark hallways. No air. Breakfast is a tray with instant coffee, milk pouches, and a couple of wrapped pound cakes. Beware.

I paid for early check in on line when I arrived the room wasn’t ready so I have to wait and at the end I was so tired that I took the room dirty I didn’t mind I need to rest the fridge wasn’t working neither the microwave plugs in the wall there was not toilet paper neither as well not towels

Absence of air conditioning. It was very hot in June, I couldn’t sleep at all.

On spot we had to pay an extra 100€ as a safety deposit, which could be payed only by card. THERE WAS NO MENTION ABOUT IT ON BOOKING!!!Very disappointing!!! If we know about it, we would choose another hotel.

WI FI PASSWORDS SHOULD BE DISPLAYED IN ALL ROOMS WITHOUT IT I FACED LOTS OF ISSUES AND HAD TO MISS AN URGENT VIDEO CONFERENCE

Room was exactly what is described

The elevator didn’t work for over a week and I was on the 7th or 8th floor depending on where you’re from. They only told me this after I paid and sign for everything, shady at best. I had heavy 50lbs luggage, ugh. I’m having some back issues now

The room is large, with a kitchen and a private bathroom. The location is excellent.

We did not have a balcony like in the picture, the window did not closed The elevator does not work, we had a room on the 6th floor, it is very difficult.

Spacious and easy to access and parking outside.

Room smelled slightly like someone had been smoking in there prior. The noise from the street outside was really loud and we had to shut the window as it was too loud but the room was extremely hot despite the fans.

Nothing! Stay away!Just nothing would convince me to stay there!

STAY AWAY!!!the neighborhood smelled like piss before we enter the premises, thank God we didn't make it to our room. It is no surprise that this hotel has some of the worst reviews (unfortunately our other room was cancelled two days before our arrival and booking.com proposed this one, and during the mess I didn't check the reviews)The entry was dirty and we can only imagine what was in the rest of the building!Wouldn't stay there for even the third of the price!When we arrived we were informed that the elevator JUST BROKE and we had to carry the luggage to the third floor (we also saw some unfortunate Italians who booked at the sixth floor when we were exiting)

Dirty, no wifi

We arrived at the reception where there was 2 gentleman trying to check in before us, the receptionist said to them that they have to wait hours as their room isn't cleaned yet because there is only one cleaner that day as a few didn't turn up. They asked him what they could do...the receptionist said out loud in front of us and other guests waiting to check in that there is nothing he could do, didby even asked them if they had luggage that he could store, or offer a drink or anything. He said it was his last day because he resigned and that he's not working there anymore, As of the next day, he said that the place is a sh**hole and a joke. So that was our very first experience upon arrival. Great, right?! We were lucky enough to be able to check in. They take £200 deposit, the hotel is very outdated , dirty...the reception is nothing like in the pictures the room was dirty , debris, dust and hair all over the floor...kitchenette was dirty too . We've been told that we have to wash up after ourselves and put everything we used back in cupboards, and we gave to take our rubbish out , otherwise, we will be charged extra. Also, if you'd like your towels replaced for clean ones, they charge you extra... the new receptionist didn't have a clue what's happening and just seemed lost . The bedding was clean , but the mattresses underneath looked like they've been picked up from a dump yard .there's no air conditioning either, just an old ,dusty fan

Only the gentleman in the reception was kind and helpfull, he assist us with everything we ask him!

First we pay to have wifi and we didnt have it, room was dirty all the hotel was dirty, the is no air condition in the room, bed was uncofortable and if take the sheet out the matrace is very dirty, elavator was not in use and we have to go Through the stairs that smell like abonded wc, alloways was dark and dirty, we didnt feel safe at all, there no hygiene at all.. The price for all this was extremly high.. We will never choose this hotel again... The photos have nothing in common with the reality..

The location is amazing, right next to the beach. The staff were amazing.

There is no air conditioning in the room so it can get super hot.

No Air Conditioning in +36 degrees ? was sweating all night, it was too hot in the room. Shower is really tiny, difficult to do any move.

Room were not clean , there was pee smell everywhere in corridor and lift. Also internet was not for entire stay.

Hygiene was bad, the pictures from booking.com didn' t corresponde withe the appartment in reality. I guess, they used pictures from another place.Most of the staff don' t speak english.

Not much unfortunately one of the worst places I've stayed in, should not be on Booking.com I have too much respect for the Brand.

Staff attitude.no wifi no hairdryer.no ventilation in toilet.no toilet paper holder.no shelf or bathroom cabinet.no chopping board in kitchenette. Broken chest of draws.broken fridge door unable to store bottles.dirty ventilation not working.lift floor dirty and paint with smell of garbage..bathroom light inadequate as wall lights not working.no headboard.only 2 cushions.2 thin towels ,one small one medium is not enough for 4 days no washing facilities..too noisy on main road.no air-conditioning.no balcony as seen in fotos.

Nice staff, utilitarian and comfortable apartments.

One of top floors may not be a problem if elevator will work, a narrow and dark spiral staircase is a challenge for high floors.No way to get inside to reception (which let you know about their availability after you make a booking) except wait on someone to get outside of the building and sneak inside while the door is open even if you payed in advance.

Nothing. The hotel is dirty, the view from the window to the garbage dump. We took an additional payment for the room of 100 euros???The money was not returned

Location.

Reception does not work, late given safe box code, the keys missing in the safe box, no-one didn't answering on the emergency phone... and the lift doesn't work.
