About

Ideal stay in Cannes, Charming Hotel Free street parking nearby • 18-min walk to Palais des Festivals • Homemade breakfast Tucked away in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in central Cannes, Ideal Séjour is a 3-star charming hotel unlike any other: its 16 rooms are each dedicated to a different cinematic world — movie noir, graphic novels, fairytales, philosophy, music, science fiction... You sleep in a thoughtfully designed, unique setting — not a generic hotel room. 🚗 A rare find in Cannes: free street parking right outside the hotel. Our guests park for free on the street just steps away. This is consistently one of the first things mentioned in our guest reviews. 🏛 18-minute walk to the Palais des Festivals. The hotel is ideally located for all the festivals and numerous trade shows held throughout the year in Cannes. A bus stop 1312 feet away provides a direct line to the Croisette. ☕ Breakfast: Fresh local produce, served in our Mediterranean garden. Every morning from 8:00 to 10:30 AM, freshly baked pastries and local seasonal produce await you in our shaded, flower-filled garden where a century-old bougainvillea takes center stage — a true rarity in the heart of Cannes. In the evening, soft lighting and ambient music set the mood for aperitifs with family or friends. 📚 A 3,000-volume library is available in the communal lounge. The hotel runs like a family home: warm, genuine, with personalized service and local tips you won't find in any guidebook. Perfect for: • Congress and event professionals looking for calm and free parking • Couples on a getaway along the French Riviera • Cinema lovers and culture enthusiasts • Travelers who want a central location without the noise

"A peaceful boutique hotel v. close to the city center. The breakfast was satisfying to very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!"

From check-in to check-out, everybody was very friendly. The breakfast lady (sorry, forgot your name!) was especially helpful and friendly. I loved the fresh pancakes, eggs, etc.Merci Beaucoup!

The walk to the Palais was a bit further than I wanted, but a taxi brings you there quickly.

Absolutely clean facilities. Very friendly staff. Despite main staff doesn’t speak English, owner speaks perfect English and was extremely helpful. They were very flexible and cooked amazing breakfasts! Hotel has cute little garden where guests can enjoy daily breakfasts in a serene environment.

Bathroom was too small for me, sink was tiny and inconvenient to wash my face. The room itself is also small, but fine for solo traveler.

Hotel is located in a quiet residential area, however it is is only a short walk to the marina. Room was nice and comfortable. Staff very friendly.

The bathroom was unfortunately really small and the sink and tap were not really comfortable to use since both small and really close together. Little space to hang clothes.

The hotel is perfectly situated close to the city center everything is walking distance, but it is in a more quiet location so it makes a great place to stay if you want to relax. The staff was wonderful really helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a really great grenach boutique vibe and is very cost. Also parking was very easy compared to other places in Cannes. Highly recommended!

Misadvertised on the listing. They have dogs that are aggressive and walk out and around and bark and intimidate guests

NOTHING. There was no "private parking on site" - they only have one slot outside their front door for deliveries - there is no other parking on site. The room we were shown had a standard double bed in the room that was so small that the bed was against two walls in the corner - you could only get in or out one side. No cupboard, no dresser no bedside cabinet - absolutely nothing available for any form of storage. Plus the room was so small we could not get our two small wheelies in anyway. They then offered us a slightly bigger room that was being decorated, with painting material on the floors and across the bed , with windows open as the walls had just been painted. What a disaster - we chose NOT to stay and found alternative accommodation.

Beautiful decor and surroundings. This hotel is so stylish - everything is just right. Very helpful hosts too. It’s located in a quiet area of the town - perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of Cannes. Not far from the station and an easy walk downhill into the town centre.

Lovely little hotel with creative, beautiful rooms. Quiet area a little outside the city center.Very friendly staff and beautiful garden for having breakfast.

    Everything was OK

Unique rooms and lovely common areas

Nothing. It’s a bit of a walk from central Cannes but we knew this and walked it every day and didn’t need a taxi, except when with luggage.

A lovely little boutique hotel with music themed rooms. Our room was decorated with amazing design touches. The hotel also has a beautiful little garden at the back. Our host Nicole was amazing - lovely and friendly and great fun, She offered us insight and directions into getting down to the centre of town and the seafront, which is a 15 minute walk down hill, An easy 10/10

The staff was very friendly. The decor and style of the hotel is cool.

The room is small. I'm not a baby who rented a cheap hotel for the first time or something. I constantly rent small rooms and I've had rooms 8 sq meters feel bigger than this 12 sq meters. The bed is extremely small for 2 people and I've had all nights of bad sleep. The location is quite far from the center and it's a hilly walk. Also the parking area is extremely small and only accommodates two cars. I didn't get parking the first day. The hotel staff suggested to find a parking area nearby, saying there's always some space. Well there isn't. We had to carry heavy luggage across the streets.

The owner of the hotel was very welcoming, the rooms are very nicely decorated and the breakfast in the beautiful outdoor was excellent with home made croissants, bread and cake.

The bathrooms are nicely designed and adequate but very small.

Nicole is very friendly and helpful. Classic charming french features, beautiful garden, stylish decoration. Breakfast was like in those romantic movies, 20 minute walk to the boulevard. Free parking in the neighbourhood, very quiet area.

    room was not very soundproof

We spent a wonderful time in this small and quiet boutique hotel. The hotel is clean, tidy and decorated with a lot of attention. The rooms are thematic, we were in "1001 nights - Scheherazade". It is a bit smaller, but it has a balcony with a view of the garden, which was very important to us. The lack in the room is a wardrobe, a well thought-out built-in wardrobe would solve the problem. Breakfast in the garden is like something from an Éric Rohmer film. Mrs. Nicole is alpha and omega, from artistic decoration to the smallest pebble in the garden. She is very dedicated to her guests, communicative and friendly. Her good playful spirit can be seen in everything. With her is her assistant Rosallia, cheerful and smiling, always there for guests. We highly recommend this wonderful place.
