Hôtel Montaigne & Spa - Cannes Centre

Room, location and amenities were amazing but I really want to appreciate the staff especially staff who went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay at this hotel¿ loved it !!

The location, the size of the room and the spa

First time staying here and was very happy with the hotel. Hotel is clean, comfortable, great staff that also speaks english. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom very clean. Good breakfast too . Very short walk to the Palais and the beach. Look forward to staying here again !

The hotel is very comfortable and it’s in a nice neighborhood. It is a few blocks from the beach, but it’s really affordable so I found it to be a good place to stay for a work trip.

have stayed here twice and the location is very near the station , it is in the city without the buss of it , i really enjoyed my time here i only wish we could of enjoyed the spa facitlites more because we did not have much time left .

i did not know how to use the bath tub properly as it seemed to have those pressure valves and would of been really nice if i knew how , with all the traveling it would of helped with my body relaxing more .

Loved the pool. Bed was comfortable and room was nice. View was great. Easy walk to the main area of Cannes but not so close that you're in the thick of it. Close to a great coffee place (Copenhagen Coffee Lab). Staff were friendly.

We first arrived to ants in our room, which was coming from an adjoining room so could have been from a guest leaving food out. They seemed a little reluctant at first to put us in a different room, but eventually upgraded us to a higher floor which was fine but the original room had a balcony and a large bath and the new room didn't. But the new room seemed more updated and slightly bigger with a nice view so we were happy. But for the price - it was fabulous.

I didn't like the stay at the hotel, starting with the service staff who were unfriendly and most disappointed by the fact that the hamam didn't work and we chose the hotel only because of the spa, in the correspondence I wrote in advance that the spa was important but they didn't warn that it didn't work. The vacation was ruined.

I liked everything in the hotel.. The staffs are very friendly and I booked in a classic room but when we came they already upgrade our room in a deluxe room.. Very good accommodation and comfortable.. We should come back here again and very recommendable to our friends..

To be honest, we weren’t expecting much as the price was quite low but we were more than pleasantly surprised! We had a junior suite which had a spa bath and was so clean. The staff were friendly and the hotel was quiet - our room was right next to the lift but we didn’t not hear the lift nor any movement or voices even once. Oh and the biggest surprise was the tv was a Smart TV with a ChromeCast and was super easy to connect our phone to. We’ve already recommended the hotel to a couple of friends!

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The hotel’s central location made it easy to reach the sea and nearby restaurants with just a short walk. Our double room was spacious and cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable stay. The reception team and breakfast staff were excellent, always friendly and attentive. The breakfast selection was great, with plenty of choices that were consistently replenished.Highly recommended

Good location. Hotel was clean and check in was good. Comfy bed. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. And we did not use the spa facilities.

Our room was on the top floor in the eaves of the building and the ceiling was very low. I had to bend over to avoid banging my head. And the plugs were low down so I had to literally crawl under the ceiling to get at them. Shower leaked.

We came to Cannes to celebrate birthday, personnel didn’t congratulate even in words and we told that it’s a birthday trip when we checked in. When we checked in I asked other options for upgrading and we were ready to pay for that! Guy told me that we already were upgraded. But the room was the same as booked. Even if the hotel almost empty and we want to pay extra, we were not offered something. You have spa and pool but in our rooms there were no wardrobes! Why? We had to go to spa in our own clothes what is not so convenient.You say that every room has coffee machine… well only small kettle that can’t reach the socket and we had to put it on floor. Other socket was not working, so in the evening you have to choose - lamp or kettle. Only 2 sticks of not original coffee and on kitchen at breakfast in machine you don’t put coffee beans replacing it with synthetic powder. In other hotel for the lower price we were offered access to kitchen for hot drinks 24/7.The total experience was bad, seems that you hired young people that never heard about good service even when we can pay extra money and told that we are ready for expenses as it’s important celebration. Not one time I heard the question how we are and any advice! Very bad!

Clean room, spacious, very friendly staff,, only downside is 10 minutes walk to the coast..

The room was clean and spacious enough and the bed super comfortable.We had a nice relaxing stay at this hotel despite the rainy days in Cannes. The spa area is very good, with a big sauna and large pool with hydro massage. The breakfast buffet has variety of options, all very tasty.Highlight: is conveniently located near the train station

Our bathroom door was a little stuck, so it didn’t close very well (we were at room 104) but we were so tired of traveling we didn’t feel like asking for it to be fixed.Also, we felt like they had staff issues with the food/bar area. They couldn’t prepare anything from the menu but the cheese board and something fried, and had issues with serving drinks and using the charging system. Maybe the person in charge was off. (And they didn’t offer room charges, so we had to pay everything at the moment which was a bit inconvenient)Anyways, they were making an effort and were pretty nice compared to France’s average service.

Nothing, it’s horrible place

1) totally not professional stuff 2) dirty 3) smell like dirty bar 4) a lot of shabby and dangerous people near entrance 5) no silence totally, between rooms

Probably the only thing that we appreciated about these hotel was the location since it was pretty close to the city center, even though you had to pass the railway to have a assassin to the historical part of the city

Despite the hotel’s high rating on Booking.com, my experience was quite disappointing. The property felt old and poorly maintained, which came as a surprise. Cleanliness was a major issue—starting with the carpets in the corridors and continuing into the rooms, everything seemed neglected.The staff at reception were unhelpful and, at times, even rude, offering little useful information about the hotel or local attractions. The restaurant was another letdown, offering a very limited selection of dishes, with the quality of the food far below expectations.The spa access, while advertised, was practically unavailable. You’re required to book in advance, and there are numerous restrictions for children, with segregated hours that make it difficult for families to use the facility. This severely limited the ability to enjoy the spa as part of our stay.
