Hotel Le Canberra

Convenient for everything. 4 min walk to Mediterranean, 5 min walk to multitude of restaurants, and 1 min walk to great shopping. Clean, modern hotel. Room was comfortable with great bathroom. Nice garden and pool area.

Very good hotel! Everything is new! Great sheets, pillows! Minibar in the room! Amazing hairdryer and steamer in the room. Loved!

Avoid this hotel

In the description said "rooms with balcony". It's absolutely misleading. No balcony, terrible room, main entrance door closed after 10pm, rude receptionist and deputy manger. When I realized that although I paid more than €400 and there was no balcony, I wanted to leave the hotel but they refused to refund.You in booking should check very carefully the information you are getting from hotels to avoid frustration and ruining of holiday by incorrect information given by the hotel.Needles to say that our holiday was ruined, instead of enjoyment we were ???

Very good hotel with a beautiful back of the hotel. Nice pool, great breakfast, a bar for drinks, private parking (35€ a day), friendly presonnel, good location.We had a good size comfortable Junior suite.We would definately stay here again.

Rooms are nice and bright and our room had a nice view overlooking the pool with a step out balcony. Good location and easy walking distance to the sea front. Nice turndown service

The main issue with our stay was the fact that the hotel accidentally charged my card twice before arrival (taking the full amount, when this should have only been taken once as part of pre-approval checks) and then despite acknowledging this was their mistake, insisted that I then pay the full amount again on arrival meaning at this point I had paid over €600. Luckily I had my Amex to pay the second payment otherwise I would have been out of pocket hundreds of pounds. The hotel confirmed on multiple occasions when asked that the original 2 payments had been cancelled and reverted. This was not the case as I have only now (4 weeks later) received the money back in my account. I also confirmed this with my bank who informed me that the merchant had not reverted the payments and instead had just not collected them, meaning they stayed as pending and were automatically reverted by my bank, rather than the hotel. I have travelled all over the world and expect to, but I have never had an issue like this. Of course, I have paid security deposits in the past but not twice due to fault of the hotel and then had to wait a further 4 weeks to receive this back, with no other forms of compensation expect for a simply apology and assurances that the payment had been reverted, when in fact it hadn’t. I’m not sure what would have happened if I didn’t have another card on hand. I stayed at this hotel previously when it first opened and had a much more pleasant experience. Bathroom maintenance should also be improved as the shower door in our room did not close meaning the floor became soaked and this is clearly a recurring issue as the paint bubbled and pealed due to the excess water next to the bath. Due to the poor mishandling of payments, I won’t be returning to this hotel on my next stay in Cannes.

Lovely hotel with nice staff. Big and clean room. Cute garden area with small heated pool was great. Location is amazing!!

The bedroom was spacious overlooking the pool with extremely comfortable bed. There was a great selection from the breakfast buffet and the location was excellent with only a few minutes walk to the beach and the hotel door step on the Rue D'Antibe shopping street. It was good to have the option of a gym and sauna also. The hotel is also central to alot of restaurants catering to all needs.

great location but you could not help feeling that the place is run for the staff more than the customer -

they lock up the pool at 6.30pm in the evening so no swimming in the beautiful evening sun (it doesn't get dark until 9.30) - when you complain they try to tell you its because the cleaning chemicals need 14 hours at least to be effective - there are no desks or tables where you can sit and work on a computer - either in the room or in the public spaces

no restaurant. No options as I stayed on a Sunday evening.

Amazing warm pool and the lilo and play stuff for the children was such a nice touch. The staff were attentive and helpful. The rooms were very clean, well equipped and modern. Staff cleaned the rooms very quickly when were were out and about. Breakfast was yummy and sitting in the conservatory for breakfast was very comfortable. The location was even better than expected.

Very poor

Very bad experience in the room the conditioner was not working at all , the room was at the first floor on the main street and was absolutely impossible to sleep with the window open. We asked to change the room but there were no more rooms available, to resolve this problem they gave us a normal ventilator!!, the day after at the reception as compensation for this problem, they propose us a Free breakfast that we did not accepted. We asked for a reimbursement and after one month they propose a discount on a future stay with them. Not serious at all!!
