Location perfect, rooms are comfortable, atmosphere so cool! Kitchen amazing, stuff so kind, hostel clean, shower excellent, I highly recommend it! You won't regret :)

Location is awesome. They also carefully clean and regularly.

Beds could be a bit more comfortable and washrooms are small and limited.

The bed was comfortable and clean. The hostel is nice and quiet. The location is fantastic.

The taps in the two bathrooms I had entered only produced hot water. Which wasn't great when I was trying to get a drink of water in the middle of the night and morning.

My second time there after I stayed when we first arrived and I enjoyed it so much I opted to go back. First time I was with a friend and second time I was alone and felt very safe and great homely vibes. The common area is spacious and kept clean. The dorm rooms were great and privacy curtains an added bonus.

No real complaints but some communal milk would have been nice as I got in quite late and didn't want to go out to the supermarket but would have liked a cup of tea with milk in the morning. Tea and coffee and provided - just no milk!

Unfortunately, I had a very distressing experience at this hostel.This was the first accommodation of my trip, and during my stay I developed widespread bed bug bites across my body, including multiple bites on my face. The itching was severe and continued for days, causing sleep disruption and visible marks.After leaving Helsinki, I continued traveling and stayed in other cities, but I was constantly anxious about potentially spreading bed bugs, which affected my peace of mind for the rest of the trip.The hostel refunded the cost of the bed, but no further resolution was offered despite the impact this had on my health, sleep, and overall travel experience.I would not choose to stay here again.

Great location, spacious & quiet hostel, very well run and easy to navigate checking in/out and storing luggage etc.

Cramped toilets, some shower rooms didn't have a lock on them

The fact that the luggage storage ends at 8.00pm but they allowed me to pick my luggage much later after informing them I'll be late! I can't thank them enough! Very cosy, Clean and organised!A home away from home! ❤️

Amazing central location close to all attractions, design district and shopping. The room was spacious and super tidy. Great close community feeling

I was bitten in several places in my bed. I'm really afraid it was bedbugs, though I didn't see any traces on the linen. I woke up from the bites at 3 a.m. and couldn't get any sleep. It's good that I only stayed one night and had to leave at 5:30, but I had to treat all my things afterwards just in case.

Cozy and comfortable, curtains on the beds, nice size storage locker, really easy check in process, walkable location

Pillow was pretty bad

Great location and facilities, friendly staff when present, overall good value for money. Self check-in was easy although it is good to keep your WiFi on in case the door code changes.

Unfortunately my bottom bed in room 6 for 8 people was infested with bed bugs, only one other bed was occupied so I didn't get a chance to check if others were affected. I noticed the red bites after the first night but hoped it was some kind of skin reaction to alcohol or food, however on the second night I caught 3 bed bugs. Hope it gets sorted out, don't ignore the signs like I did :(

It's right in the center of the city. The staff isn't 24 hours around, but when they are, they're very friendly, they have a huge blackboard with recommendations for each day of the current week and also folders with recommendations for eating, entertainment...

The place doesn't have outdoor space or views to the city. It's not a bad thing if your plan is to spend most of the time around in the city, it's just something you have to take into consideration.

Location was very good and easy to access, information for entering comes before your check-in and made it very easy.The lounge and kitchen are very cozy, tidy and with rules that luckily all the guests were respecting, making the place quiet and organized for a relaxing stay in a hostel.Bonus star for the cleaning, the lady I saw doing it was very agile and making it excelent.

1. Very severe bedbug issue in dormitory. I have never encountered this before so initially i thought it was just dry skin allergy. Later symptoms started to show up on the following days (20+ bites). Had killed 5 bugs the morning i decided to move out early and stay somewhere else. Had a pleasant stay at this hostel a few years ago so I rebooked it this time. But this time very disappointing. Symptoms still affecting me even I've returned home already.2. No staff on site after 5pm. There were 2 nights with a big group travelling together (there were 10+ of them staying at different rooms). They practically ignored all house rules and treated lounge as it's their home and being very noisy till late. No staff to turn to. Overall very disappointing experience this time

Friendly staff, clean hostel and perfect location. Would stay here again if I return to Helsinki :)
