The lighting in the whole hotel was so dark... feels like a weird thing to complain about but it was really off-putting, especially at breakfast. The breakfast wasn't great either, we ended up just getting coffee and pastries across the road at Fazer.

Great location with walking distance to train and everything downtown. Breakfast was amazing. Friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel was so good that we canceled our hotel at the airport the night before we leave and will stay at the hobo again.

Location is amazing, we almost never had to walk more than 20 minutes to any attraction point. Also there're plenty of food places close by. The room is designed very tastefully and also is pretty spacious. Staff was friendly and spoke English perfectly.

Wifi was without a password, which worried me a bit. The entrance to the hotel is also a bar and it might or might not be a problem depending on your preferences.

The hotel and our stay there exceeded both my expectations and those of my partner. The check-in and check-out processes were very simple and efficient. Coming from Tallinn, getting from the port to the hotel was incredibly easy—just one tram, which literally stops at the corner of the hotel.In terms of amenities, everything was very good. Personally, I pay special attention to the bathroom, and the heated tiles were a huge plus, especially considering the very low winter temperatures. The room was spotless and extremely well organized. As a smoker, I also appreciated the pleasant outdoor area in front of the hotel, with tables and ashtrays available.The only suggestion I might make is that, since it was heavily snowing during our stay and we inevitably brought in snow and mud from outside, it could be helpful to have a small shoe-cleaning machine at the entrance. This would make it easier to keep all common areas and the rooms clean, as we did bring in some water and had to wipe it up ourselves out of respect for the room and the management.Overall, it was an excellent experience. If I visit Helsinki again, I will definitely choose this hotel and highly recommend it without hesitation. Finally, I should mention that it is located in an excellent area, close to many points of interest in the city. Congratulations to the people managing it—it is clear that they truly love what they do.

I enjoyed the hotel's design, our room was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. I was also happy to use a well-equipped gym and a photo booth!

We missed a coffee machine/free access to the kettle. The staff was also a bit too pushy trying to get us to upgrade to a room, which in the end made us not do it, although the price was fair.

The location is just perfect, breakfast is super delicious and has a lot of options (gluten free as well). Before having a breakfast they offer and recommend to drink ginger shots. I really liked the design of the hotel, so many details, they even have a Photo Booth.

The shower is separated from the bathroom and there was no curtain in the shower, so if you are traveling with someone you are not so close to, maybe you should specify this moment when booking.

The pillows are small and square and aren’t comfy

The hotel is in the perfect location, very close to the main train station, but also to the harbor area.It's in one of the main streets, so all the shops someone might need are there. The room size is more than generous and the staff is very friendly.

The hotel was in dead-center Helsinki which was really nice to reach all the sights and the main railway station. My son had birthday and he got a small present from the hotel which was very considerate!

The property has a great location, helpful staff, very clean, comfortable beds, great hot water pressure in the shower and the decoration was very cool and contemporary. I liked that we got cool looking slippers to bring home as a memory! Breakfast is pretty good and the ginger shot superb!

You can hear the tram passing by at all times, so if you are a light sleeper like me that could be annoying. Also, my room was on the 4th floor and I had to access more than a few doors just to get to my room and a few short stairs which can be very bothersome if you are carrying heavy bags like I did. I wish, i had a room closer to the elevator. Also their oatmilk is cold (breakfast) so don’t expect to drink warm: cold coffee, they cannot warm it up for you either.

Great location in the centre of the city area. Rooms are well appointed and larger than we were expecting.

Hobo Helsinki ticks all the boxes. Location couldn't be better—right in the centre with everything within walking distance. The room was lovely with a surprisingly spacious bathroom, incredibly comfortable beds, and a TV that supports screencasting, which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is very well located, with attractions, restaurants, and the tram stop all within walking distance. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The bed was super comfy. Very modern interior design.

Our room was a little dark and the ceiling was quite low in places. There was a pillar in the middle of the room, which was in the way. The common areas are also quite dark.
