Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Helsinki

Best location in Kamppi, newly remodeled rooms, excellent breakfast!!

There was always someone at the reception desk anytime and how accomodating they were for anything. Plus, the location was amazing.

Very nice and clean rooms. Lady at front desk exceptionally helpful.

Seems understaffed, long checkin wait and restaurant was always closed. A bit odd. Bed and pillows a bit too soft for my liking.

Convenient location. Great facilities , SaunaNice breakfast spread. Only omelet station was not operational.

Gym could have been better!

Excellent location near the station and main central area. Breakfast really good in a beautiful historic building setting. Rooms spacious and clean

Well nothing really to complain about, maybe would be worth vacuuming the floor mat at the entrance from time to time, because otherwise the whole hotel is superclean and particularely that floor mat at the entrance is a bad advertisment :)

Got to choose whether i wanted bathtub or shower. The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable

Over-crowded breakfast room, and immediate removal of foods and soon after lights, at stated breakfast period end.Shower enclosure allows water to run onto bathroom floor.

I'm coming often at Helsinki and i can tell you the location is great, the room is nice and I loved the bathroom with the shower. Staff in the reception and at breakfast are very nice ?

Next to the hotel there is a construction site and my room was exactly at the edge of the hotel so I woke up from the noise and at noon I couldn't rest. They could stop using this rooms of that side of the hotel, for a while.The breakfast wasn't good, it takes time to refill the food so you have to wait for cheese/butter/croissants. You can have an omelet but you have to find it out by yourself and.....you can have it if its not busy. Croissants where undercooked. Better go at StGeorge bakery for breakfast or in a coffee shop.The room wasn't properly cleaned. Some details that made me not to trust it. Hair in the bathroom, a pair of trousers in the drawer, the carpet had stains.

Let me tell the story. There was a lady who asks for room number in the breakfast area. During my breakfast, i packed my leftover food on my plate to eat them during the day because they were all leftover ones and if i did not take them, they all would be put to the trash. Then i pour some hot water to my kid’s thermos, please note only hot water. After all these,this lady came to me said,they were not free, if i did it again, they would charge me, it was like a threat to me,because she was so rude and mean. After that situation this lady was spying on me and my family all time during the breakfast which was shame and rude. She got eyes on us. And the next day, we entered the breakfast area again, then this lady started to look at us always & always, it was so irritating,oh my God! We felt like we were in the kindergarden and supervision of her. When we left the breakfast area i said this lady’Bye’ and she did not respond,then i look at her smiling and saying bye again,she did not even respond to me. So i am asking Radisson Blue, is this your customer management? Do you have customer policy? Did you train your employees about them? Taking hot water or coffee or leftover is forbidden? If yes, why do you cartoon /plastic glasses in the breakfast area? If you will be family in your visit, please be aware of the eyes on you.This is the worst Radisson Blue experience for me and my family. I will not stay again there.

Close to the city centre

Cleaners don’t clean the room properly. We found used condom hanged on TV

- The room was big and comfortable.- The bed was really big and nice.- The staff was very polite.- Very flexible with checkout time.- clean room.

- Very bad breakfast, I think that may be the reason for not choosing again this hotel. The buffet was so empty, nothing special and almost everything I tasted in both days it was very old.. omelette, bacons, pastries and croissants all tasted really bad… - The location of the gym is so uncomfortable. You have to go out of the hotel and then go 3 floors under the ground with the stairs. No one is there to welcome you and it’s a bit creepy.

Hotel is located in city center. Most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance. There are many shopping malls nearby. Breakfast was very satisfying. Special thanks to receptionist who upgraded our room .

Everything was good, the room was exactly as shown in the picture, Staff at the reception were great, they went out of there way to explain things about the city & guided us about everything.

Location as a bit too far from City Centre.

Beautiful hotel near the center of Helsinki. This is a good place to base your adventures from. The decor is modern and we'll kept. The staff is friendly and they speak English well, which is good for travellers. The breakfast buffet had a great variety that will satisfy anyone's tastes for sweet or savory items. The room was perfect for a solo traveller.

The room wasn't as clean as could be. There was hair near the drinking glasses. The eggs at the breakfast buffet are reconstituted (powdered eggs) and they have a star age taste. Although I found these issues to bother me, it's not a reason to avoid this hotel. Overall, it was a really nice stay.
