Scandic Park Helsinki

The free breakfast is exceptionally good with a lot of choices. The dinner is expensive but with poor quality and very limited choice. Tram station is across the street.

The air conditioning is basically poor or nothing. Suggested to book elsewhere as we could not sleep in summer. The location is actually not really good as the restaurants nearby are expensive but low-class.

Very dirty place. Entrance glass door was broken. Lobby area was no cleaned for days!

I felt very comfortable and the reason I stayed here as opposed to a hostel was due to some medical situations that required good sleep and I got fantastic sleep and good food here.

There was a little bit of chaos during check-in mostly travelers getting mad at each other though but scandic had so many other amenities that I didn't take advantage of that the front desk people talked about to each traveler. That held up the line maybe but I hardly cared. Scandic has so many amenities that its worth talking about them.

Very nice and extremely clean room.I like having he option for a swimming pool and sauna.Breakfast had a lot of options and was good.Rather quiet room and good neighborhood close to a park, the historical congress center and plenty of restaurants and shops.Easy to reach the city center, rail station, even on foot.

Only minor things, since all important items were spot-on.e.g.:The room could have used a boiler for tea.The mini bar was ludicrously expensive.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was about 20 min walk from Central Train Station. Scenic view from our room, which is facing the lake.

Location is exceptional. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean and comfortable. Really good value.

Nice hotel, very centrally located, especially if you are attending concerts or opera. Also close to the train station and connections to the airport. Rooms are nice, many have views of the park.

Early check-in was offered only for an upgrade at extra cost. Crowds and ques at the earliest check-in time (they could have prevented it by letting people check in a bit early). Offer to speak aggressor's language for a guest, who is not from aggressor country, was offensive, even if it was done with a wide smile - being culturally sensitive takes more than the staff has now - I suggest to read some news once in a while and study at least regional geography more carefully. Or just speak Finnish or English, when in doubt.

The room looked beautiful and was comfortable, the staff was absolutely lovely and efficient, the bed itself was very comfortable

The TV was stuck to 1 channel, and I got a second room because this didn't sound right, but it was the same thing in the second room. After working and travelling during the day, I didn't feel like checking whatever document about the hotel to figure out if there is something special that needs to be done to access more channels...The design of the bathroom, though pretty, wasn't well thought, and different utilities were not placed in a convenient place which felt uncomfortable...

the family room is large and comfy, and the pool is a great complement to a comfy stay!

One day, arriving around 23 hours I saw a mouse running from hotel garage to the street.

the sauna is a little bit too small, fit at most 6 peoples and 2 have to stand.the swimming pool is too cool to swim.

Quiet and clean hotel that was perfectly located for easy access to the conference hall, food, ferries and the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I couldn't get very good signal from the provided wifi, the shower was the kind where water goes all over the floor (but that's pretty common)
