Great location, friendly staff. Generous sized room and very functional bathroom with plenty of counter space and proper space in the shower to place personal shower items. Also very much appreciated an option other than rain showerhead.

The menu in the restaurant was lacking.

The black tulle on the windows is definitely not the best solution for Helsinki having two sunny days a year :) It creates a bit of a heavy feeling of sadness. But in general, this is more a matter of taste.

Great location, less than 10mins walk to old market and less than 15mins walk to christmas market. Staff were also very friendly. Beds were quite tall but very comfy

Great size room, very comfortable beds, front desk staff were all fantastic. So helpful, polite and friendly and very knowledgeable. They made our stay!

The head waiter/front of house in the restaurant. He was very rude to me and my mother one morning. We bought fresh strawberries from the market and brought them into the breakfast area to eat. We had already paid for the included breakfast, and we are hotel guests.The fruit on offer was not seasonal (bananas, pineapple and watermelons!!). I live in Asia, i eat that every day. I was so happy to see fresh strawberries!! He embarrassed us in front of the other guests saying it was breaking the law to bring in outside food. There are ways to communicate with a guest, we didn't bring in a pizza. He should have spoken to us discreetly. It ruined our breakfast and we didn't enjoy this part of our stay at all. He was also rude and bossy to his staff. His attitude was off when everyone else had been exceptional! The front desk apologised to us when I brought it up. They were very understanding and agreed his approach was over-the-top.

Near market square in town centre. Clean. Good breakfast. Gym.

The location is excellent, you are a few hundred meters away from the city center. The room looked really cool from inside and it was spacious.We loved how the room was equipped by everything we needed.

A bit pricey and not loads of choice at breakfast, but what there was was very good quality.

Staff was wonderful, great breakfast and they made our stay special. Will definitely stay at U14 next time as well, when visiting Helsinki.

The breakfast was amazing, a lot of healthy options and delicious Finnish specialties.The decor was modern, with beautiful, rich colors, interesting furniture

I would have loved some Alcohol Free Beer in the mini fridge in the room :)

Amazing location (near Helsinki's main square) and very good bedroom and breakfast.

Staff was very nice, both reception and restaurant.The interior design in the room was pleasant too.

Breakfast was just not worth it; at first glance, it looks great, but then the cooked meats were very salty, scrambled eggs was more of a sponge...Small things too, like how one of the lotion bottles was empty, and the shampoo bottle wasn't screwed shut.Also, you need a swimsuit for the sauna because it is unisex.

Breakfast was not that great. The cappuccino was one of the worst I have had. Tasted like soap water!

We loved our spacious room with very comfortable beds. The hotel is in a great area of the city close to the water and walks of the city. The staff were really lovely and very helpful.
