Original Sokos Hotel Tripla Helsinki

The hotel overall was great. Breakfast was served every morning. It was clean and quiet. The location was convenient with access to the mall and to public transportation as well.

Housekeeping only leaves two towels, there is no room to spill anything and try to clean it up yourself.

We had a bit of a hic-cup with my reservation at check in but the staff that day (afternoon of 8 Nov) had it fixed in no time. My stay was wonderful- I am a HUGE fan of your breakfast (am having withdrawal right now...), I got to have a nice workout in your exercise room, and I can't imagine a better location for a business traveler given your location literally on top of Pasila Station! (As a rail fan I love being able to see the lines and the old round-house from the south-side elevators!!) Once again I had a great stay at your hotel, I would certainly stay there again, and I will recommend Sokos Tripla to anyone traveling to Helsinki. Kiitos paljon!!

The only thing I didn't like was entirely on me- I had every intention of handling the check-in in the Finnish I've been working on, but in my jet-lagged mind-fog it fell apart right from the start and I had to switch to English... Next year it will be better!!

Fantastic service! I had to leave early in the morning but still got a lovely take away breakfast kit. Very appreciated!

Location, service and breakfast!

Very convenient to transit, shopping, restaurants and the conference center.

No wash clothes, room temperature was hard to regulate.

Location right next to the train station is really nice.Breakfast was good, especially the oven porridge was really good.

Even the hotel is just 5 years old the room feels like it is older. Room was clean even though the hat rack was a bit dusty but I luckily swiped before putting my hat on it.

You know what you get with Sokos hotels, everything always up to their standards of quality. Excellent location next to train station and Tripla mall. Breakfast buffet is enormous with vast amount of selections. Room is very nice and modern.

Confusing reception area. IT was a total mess. Some guests took queue numbers, others were pushing otherwise in front of the queue.At times unhelpful staff. Totally a ridiculous joke to call them "Onnellistaja".The Asian heritaged young guy was really rude on Sat evening 1/11/ 2024.

Everything was good

This is not a complaint but a point to improve: we asked the reception for our room to be cleaned, but they never did. We were staying for two nights so this was not a big deal.Also, some dust and lint were around the room.

Good location with many transport options and walking distance to the Messekeskus. Comfortable clean room. Good breakfast. Great, friendly, helpful staff.

Great view. Great connectivity with public transportation. Easy to go airport via the train at a fraction of the price for taxi airport transfer.

Bathrooms were rather cold for a shower. Air conditioning limited to a maximum setting of 24'C resulted in a temperature of 22'C only. Coming from a country where the average daytime temperature is about 30'C,it is very chilly.

Superior location - it is in a large mall connected to the train station. Staff was extremely friendly - my early-morning flight arrived early, and I was able to check-in way before the schedule, and slept really well before the night event.

I expected to find a coffe-machine in the room, though instant coffee with coffe creme was good enough.

The breakfast was pretty good, very typical Finnish style breakfast. Me and my family really enjoyed it.

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. I requested cleaning around 9-10am. However, when I returned to the room around 12pm, the cleaning wasn't done yet. The cleaning guy came to visit us around 2pm, and it was too late for us already.

The location and the fact there’s a mall next to it, close to the bus and trains. Very nice to have

It’ really minor: they have this low soft pillows, while I prefer hard and high pillows

Great location with views over Helsinki, a huge mall underneath (complete with a massive indoor playground for kids), and easy access (via train or bus) to pretty much any part of Helsinki. Comfortable but simple rooms and a great, tasty breakfast (and very kind breakfast staff too!)

It's quite basic for the price and the fact that they don't offer family rooms (with space for a family of four) is a real shame.
