Hotel Christl München Innenstadt

Location was excellent, very close to S-Bahn. Breakfast was not included but there are many cafes nearby.

Very helpful and pleasant staff. Room was spacious.

The hotel is a bit tired.

The room was clean and the area was quiet. The water got warm/hot almost immediately and the water pressure in the shower was great. Linen was clean. The host was nice and pleasant.

The bed was TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not sleep well, it was uncomfortable, painful and I woke up with the worst head, neck and backache that stayed with me for the next 24 hours!!! The floor would have been more comfortable.

The chap at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome, share information etc

Its just a standard room, with basic facilities, but there is so much to see in Munich that's all you need.

I was there during the Oktoberfest when other hotels are insanely expensive but super crappy. This one was not expensive and it was just awesome. The staff is super friendly, helps with whatever you need and is very uncomplicated.

I was booked for 3 nights but only just survived the first before checking out which was unfortunate as the owner who had very little english was trying to be very helpful.

The issue was that it had been a hot day and the single rooms all faced the afternoon sun. The room was like a sauna. To get any ventilation you had to open the balcony window then you had all the noise from a busy mainroad. Even with the window open and trying to ignore the street noise the room was oppressively hot. I got no sleep at all and checked out at 8.30 and went to the motel one up the street where a/c was in all rooms. The room at hotel Christl was very small and whilst it appeared clean the shower screen was caked in old soap scum.With europe now having summers like Australia you really need a hotel with A/C as this was not the first place that caused problems with hot rooms over the last month of my travels. At a cooler time of year this would be a value place as the location is ok with plenty of local restaurants and a close train station.

Coming from the airport the hotel was easily to reach with the S-Bahn. The room was very clean and pleasant, had comfortable beds and a good sized bathroom with a well working shower. We only stayed for one night and the location was perfect to explore Munich with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. We will definitely return and can highly recommend the hotel.

Excellent staff, very clean rooms, close to undergrounds. I enjoyed my staying.

There was no hair dryer in the room, the desk was not 24 hours and closed in the nights.

I was pleasantly surprised. Very clean and spacious single room, even with balcony.

It would be great if there was a bigger TV. Also if the German channels could be in the right order, I.e ARD on 1, ZDF on 2 and BR on 3.

The ideal hotel if you need two or three nights in Munich as the hotel is small, familiar and in a great location between Rosenheimer Platz and East Munich. Mohammed, the owner, really looked after my elderly parents, booked taxis, gave them lift access, etc. A wonderful person. Thank you do much for everything. Best regards from the Denzler family.

I like the location, near to center, easy access, the owner is very kind and helpful, the room was clean, the bathroom and the shower cabin was very clean and the water was warm and had pressure! The breakfast could be solved easier, there are so many backeries near to the location.

Hotel was in the best area of Munich. Close to the city center, but away from the crowds. Lots of small cafes and charming restaurants around. The room was spacious, extremely clean and totally silent. Perfect place to relax after a day around the city. The best thing though was the exceptionally friendly service. No hairdryer, room a little small but still very good. Location is good.
