    Pros +

    • Breakfast was pretty good, kind and polite staff, especially in the dining room.
    • ArtHotel Munich is in a very convenient location, only about 4 minutes on foot from the main train station and around 15 minutes from the city center. There are many cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, including Lidl and Rossmann. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We requested separate beds and received exactly what we wanted. The room also had a safe, fridge, and air conditioning. The hotel is beautifully designed and truly artistic, just as the name suggests. The bathroom looked very modern with elegant marble finishes.Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we have experienced in European hotels in terms of variety and quality. There was a wide selection of cheeses and cold cuts, fresh vegetables, and beautifully prepared fruit, including tropical options. Coffee, tea, juices, and many other choices were available. A special highlight was the waffle maker where you can prepare fresh hot waffles yourself.
    • Good breakfast and smiling staffs

    Cons -

    • The room was in another building, and there was no lift on the second floor.
    • Everything met our expectations
    • Nearby do not have covenience store or restaurant

Very clean, well presented rooms, ideal location, friendly staff on arrival and departure. Breakfast was good, more continental than cooked but all nice. Good value for money. Would stay again.

    Location is great

Photos are deceptive, rooms are not clean

Our room on the sixth floor was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast included a good selection of items that provided for a very enjoyable breakfast. The location was convenient to the railway station and easily walkable to the old town.

The hotel’s location is great — far enough from Munich’s busy areas to feel peaceful, yet still relatively close to the city center. The breakfast selection is excellent, and everything is consistently restocked. A big plus is that it opens at 6:30 a.m., which is perfect for anyone with early activities planned.

Although the family rooms are large and spacious enough for a family of four, the bathroom almost always had a strong sewage smell. The room cleaning was very poor; there was a lot of dust left on the floor, and the coffee and tea cups were not replaced with clean ones after being used. The window insulation was also very weak, and the bed next to the window was exposed to the cold.

Breakfast was very good with many options, classically German selection of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits & vegetables. Room clean & simple. Polite staff. Enjoyed the interesting artwork in the stairwells, room and lobby. Convenient location right near the Hauptbahnhof.

The only coffee in the room is instant packets & a tea kettle.

Everything was great and better than expectations for a 3 stars hotel.Good breakfast and restaurant staff were super nice and friendly.Hotel room was well equipped and bed was so comfortable. Perfect place close to central station.

Great location, very close to Central station. We had a comfortable stay.

Allowing smokers to stand at the entrance to the lift and doorways.

    Bad

I had to carry my suitcase to the room without an elevator. Also the room was opposite the restaurant where breakfast was served 1 step away. There was a bad smell all night

    Central location & lovely staff

The annex building was not good. We could hear everyone around us. There were handprints all over the wooden panels in the room. I don't need to know what debauchery was happening in the room before I arrived.

    9DianaPosted on: 2-13-2026

The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The location was great as it is very close to the Munich Main Station. The breakfast was really good. This hotel was an extremely good value for the money.

    Nothing, it was all great.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location near train station. Comfortable and nice vibe

    8DanielePosted on: 2-12-2026

on the first night the bed was broken, nevertheless the day after they updated the room.

you can’t book the car parking before arriving and it is very small in comparison with the number of the rooms

    9AristeidesPosted on: 2-12-2026

Central with excellent connectivity. Clean. Excellent breakfast.

The room could use 50cm larger width size

    7RiccardoPosted on: 2-11-2026

very good value for price. bathroom was big. bed was very comfortable. location is great.

TV in room is extremely old. no apps and all channels are in german. cannot watch anything. breakfast is average. not much variety.

Great location, near to central station. Good breakfast, super lovely ladies working at breakfast station. Clean room, big bathroom with window. Great price.

Pillows.. were rough My neck hurt.

    8EsraPosted on: 2-11-2026

It is so close to the train station, the room is big and had everything we needed. The staff is attentive and helpful. We couldn't do early check-in but we could leave our luggage there, it was super helpful before and after check-in.

The room was not so clean, there was stain on the sheet. The central area is a bit far by walking.
