Pros +
- The location was perfect. The staff was great and everything was very clean.
- The location was amazing! It was so great that we were able to leave our luggage at the front desk before our room was ready. The room was better than I expected, on the smaller side but didn't feel too small, and it was very clean.
- The location is unbeatable. the room and bathroom were small but clean and comfortable.
Cons -
- No air conditioning, which I didn¿t even think to check because we¿re American. We had to keep the windows open and even though we were on the 3rd floor it was very noisy until after midnight.
- The weather was pretty warm for Feb and there is no AC so the room was a bit warm. You can open your windows for some cool air but it can be noisy if there are people hanging outside, noise really carries.
- The noise from tavern adjacent to the hotel was extremely loud till mid night every night

Super close to everything. Nice staff.
12 Euro each for breakfast a day
Hard to communicate
Location, location, location!!! Can't beat it!!
Overall satisfactory and meets the star level
Great price for the best location. The market is right outside where you can get a quick meal. Short walk to many must see spots for anyone’s first time in Munich. And the staff was so helpful and kind.
Location was unbeatable on the lively market square and a short walk to Marienplatz
I read all the reviews about this hotel before choosing it. Basically you stay here for the location. The rooms are comfortable, small, but clean and I found the beds comfortable. The street cleaners go through around 5am which woke me up, and there are a lot of bars in the vicinity, which is definitely part of the charm, but I can imagine if you are here in summer and need the windows open, it would be loud. we were not told that we needed to pre-order breakfast the day before so the second day we were staying we went down to breakfast and we’re treated extremely rudely by the lady and was informed that there was no food for us so even though we had prepaid for breakfast as part of our reservation, we did not get any. The main thing to recommend this place is definitely the location. Probably not worth all of the money.
Location, clean, quiet
The elevator feels like a transparent coffin
The staff was nice and helpful. Especially in holding our bags after checkout. The location is great. Impossible to beat
The beds were really uncomfortable.
Hotel was great regarding location. Very clean and secure. Staff was friendly but unobtrusive. There was a tiny bit of funk to our room but it dissipated after a day— window was opened by cleaning staff second day of our trip which helped with this. Right around that corner from everything- I mean literally- one way or the other your are in Munich! Danke!
A bit of a weird odor upon arrival— got better.
Great location.
Beds are as hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable. The carpet is very dirty, needs a good clean. Bathroom is showing age. Very noisy hotel, lots of banging and noise from the hallway. Staff weren’t very helpful, as they couldn’t speak English
Central location, warm and comfortable bed, simple breakfast
The walls of the room was very thin. I can hear all the noise from the room beside me which disrupted sleep a lot.
The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. Great location
No parking onsite but the nearest car park was only 15 euro over night and only a 8 minute walk and you could drop bags off at the door then park.
Location for Viktualienmarkt
Bad odours in bathroom, very little water pressure, shower head basic, elevator is TINY - one person and one bag at a time, breakfast average at best Far better value across centre of Munich for sure
*Staff was WONDERFUL with the exception of the gentleman who checked us in the evening of Dec 29th. *Beds were super comfortable if you like a firm mattress*Had the ability to open the windows to cool the room at night for sleeping*Location was perfect *Bathroom was huge and room overall was a decent size for Europe*Absolutely spotless. Thank you to the housekeepers!!
*Walls were paper-thin and we could hear everything from snoring to yawns from the people next door. Must pack earplugs!*No face/washcloths which was weird*The guy who checked us in refused to give us enough keys for the two rooms we’d paid for. We wanted four keys for each room so all four people in our party had access to both rooms. Stupid thing to reuse a customer who had paid for the rooms.
We had a great stay at this hotel in Munich. The location was excellent - right in the heart of the city and only a 5 minute walk to Marienplatz, which made getting around incredibly easy. The hotel has a small elevator, which was convenient, and both the room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided
The only downside was that the TV wasn’t a smart TV, but overall this was a fantastic place to stay and we would definitely recommend it.
Very clean , nice bathroom, excellent location
No coffee machine in room
