Pros +
- The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly.
- The rooms were perfect for what we needed. We did not eat breakfast but there was a cute little cafe next door. Location was perfect to walk to almost all the Christmas markets which is why we were in Munich.
- Good location, comfortable, clean, quiet.
Cons -
- No cattle in the room. I so much needed hot tea in the edges of the day since it was so cold out. No real breakfast.
- Was a great stay. Showers were somewhat small but nothing you could not overlook.
- The daytime receptionist was extremely rude. Not only towards me, but I also heard him speak rudely to another lady at the reception. I came to Munich for just one night to attend an important meeting at 11 AM. When I went down to the lobby to ask if it would be possible to check out 30 minutes to an hour later, he immediately said no in a very rude tone.I explained that I was in a rush and only needed an extra 30 minutes, but he repeated “we don’t do it like that here,” again in an unfriendly manner. I even asked if I could pay for a late checkout, and he still refused, with the same rude attitude. Because of this, I had to run back to my room, quickly pack everything, and leave my luggage in the storage room.I studied Hospitality Management in Germany and have worked in various hotels for over two years, so I completely understand that some hotels cannot accommodate late checkout requests. However, there is always a professional and polite way to communicate this to a guest. If he had simply explained the situation in a friendly tone, I would not have complained at all. When I returned later that evening to pick up my belongings, a different receptionist was working, and he was very kind and helpful — a complete contrast to the experience earlier.

Cleanliness of room, individual bathrooms. Staff were very helpful. Location near the Thereseweisen. Close proximity to nearby Metro

The location is great and the rooms are quite okay if you are just staying just for couple nights.

The location is literally in the middle of the city, so I don't think anyone could complain about that. The Minga staff are usually very helpful and friendly at all their locations. Their beds are usually very nice, too.
Minga4 is literally just around the corner, and it’s superior in every way — nicer interiors, cleaner, feels newer, quieter, and has better showers. While that one (Minga4) is also right at Sendlinger Tor, it’s on a tiny side street, so it’s very quiet. This one (Minga13) has the same very nice soundproof windows, but since it’s right on the main street, the noise still gets through, no matter how good the windows are.The shower in my room also had a very strange door — it opened backward into the cabin, leaving just a narrow gap to enter. I have no idea how plus-sized people could get in or out. The room itself also had a less appealing interior compared to the one I was used to at Minga4.One last thing that worried me: no matter how much I tried to air out the room, the windows were constantly damp from the humidity and the cold outside. On the last day, I even noticed some mold on the window.Overall, I’ve had great experiences with the Minga chain, but if you can, choose their other location around the corner — it’s usually about the same price and way better.

I chose this place primarily for the central location and was pleasantly surprised by the room. It has everything you need, is clean and a good place to stay for a few nights.
Location, cleanliness, facilities
The way they limited baggage storage until 2 pm, never seen something like that and it was not very helpful, considering that we stayed during 5 days
The location was great. We mostly walked but the U Bahn was very close by. The train station was a short taxi ride.
Open the bar and kitchen at the main Minga13.
Convenient location for going to octoberfest, 20 min walk to Theresienwiese. Also 15-20 min walk to other tourist attractions in city center. Room was nice and clean. Staff were quick to respond to requests. Would recommend!
Proximity to Oktoberfest and trains.
They did not have coffee in the room or building, you had to either pay in the shop or go to a sister property.
Great stay about 20 min walk to Oktoberfest
Got locked out at 12:30am and the key card wouldn’t work. No front desk at that hour so be careful. Thank god a group was coming out and let me in. $350 a night was a little steep for what you get but it’s peak season
Room was excellent and very comfortable. Easy walk from train station, Oktoberfest grounds and Marienplatz on a quiet street. Cafe attached next door was perfect for breakfast each morning. Appreciated being able to do a load of laundry.
Convenient location
Can only store luggage till 3pm. It is not convenient. Room is very basic.
The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable.
The shower was frustrating due to poor door seals. And the shower was just small in general.
Location
Bar was closed Friday 7PM. No coffee Saturday 7 AM. Lights by bed didn’t work. Front desk staff not very friendly.
This hotel is really good. They eve. Offer bakery product and hot drink for free in the breakfast time. The accessibility to free coffee/tea all the time was really good.
The beds could be little bit larger.
Very safe and nice location, clean room, helpful staff.
Location close to the main train station
Unfortunately, the hotel is on the main road, it is very noisy, police cars sirens running 24/7
