Hotel Bayernland

The staff is amazing! They are kind and gracious and so happy to help. But the true star of the show was the included breakfast. We didn't even know we needed it so bad but after 3 nights of oktoberfest, it was VITAL to have a hearty breakfast.

Location near Hauptbahnhof, durti Street, aggressive people.Did feel safe.

The breakfast was very good, I was actually impressed.I had the single room. It was very comfortable. The shower needs an update a bit, but the stay in general was very confortable. The bed especially was very good. The location was great. Close to the train station and the city centre. Easy to walk and many restaurants around

The shower tbh. It needs some fixing. Also, no possibility to leave the luggage in the hotel when you arrive eafrlier than check-in time. I arrived at 8:00 am and had to drag my luggage around the city with me for hours. It was very uncomfortable. And It was weird that we cannot leave the luggage there tbh.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was amazing.

Location near centre of town, opposite the cathedral. Adoration Chapel nearby. Great breakfast.

Close to Munich Central Station/Hauptbahnhoff. 5 minute walk. Quiet location. Delicious breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff.

Great position, near the train station and metro.

Not clean, the room had a bad smell and the bed wasn’t clean.. not like the photos

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good! Very close to the train station and close to the Oktoberfest grounds. We walked to the Hop on and Off bus stop and that made getting around Munich more enjoyable and easy.

I just wished they had coffee available earlier for us time zone challenge travelers.

The staff were very helpful and polite especially after breakfast. Great location close to Hauptbahnhof and there was a great friendly diner kebab shop uo the road (the small one). The restaurant next door had great service and food too. Perfect size room for 3.

Aged showers were a little disappointing when it’s so cold outside.

Close to the train station, friendly staff, extensive breakfast buffet, and incredibly comfy bedding (welcome as we got over jet-lag).

Great location for a visit to Munich. A fantastic selection for breakfast, you wont go hungry. Staff were very helpful for local knowledge.

The bathroom's are on the slightly small side.

Charming eclectic hotel, very satisfying breakfast!

Staff were not very friendly or helpful. The room key rules were very restrictive. You had to leave your room key at reception every time you wanted to leave and return to the hotel.

All very friendly staff, comfortable room and good breakfast.

Our flight was not due until late evening and there was no where to leave luggage on departure day!

Breakfast had a good and varied selection for all palates. Plenty of space in the room with lots of storage. Bathroom was huge and shower had plenty of power. We picked the hotel due to the location adjacent to the train station because of an early return to the airport. Easy walking distance to the Christmas market but the subway is within the train station for those that cannot walk far.

The bed was too hard for me and the pillow too soft, but that’s down to what I’m used too.

Rooms were quite warm, and very clean ,Beds were comfortable, shower was nice and hot .

No tea making facilities,no safe in the room, bathroom very small.shower screen wouldn't close . Breakfast was quite basic but ok ,no hot options . The Bar was ok, very small ,few seats and not the one on the advert, Hotel needs some TLC, and a bit further than expected from station.

Our 2nd time in this hotel.Positives: our room this trip was large and very nice.  A step up from the norm in this hotel class.The breakfast was typical for German tourist class hotels.  Lots of variety and of good quality.  I love German breakfasts!

Negatives: I have probably visited Europe (mostly Germany) 20 times and often stay in tourist class hotels. Flights from the US typically arrive early.  We always arrive at our hotel and rarely can we check-in yet.  That is understandable.  We typically leave our luggage and come back later. That is such a norm everywhere that we didn't think to ask before booking.  This hotel will not take your bags before check-in (although they did when we stayed in 2022). This is a big deal for tourists.  Even if you want to hang out in the lobby for hours, there is only 1 chair there.Knowing the area, we walked to the main train station and put our luggage in a locker. This information was not offered to us so I'm not sure what we would have done if we were unfamiliar with the area.This is a deal breaker for me and I won't stay at this property again until they find a solution.
