Hotel Isartor

Very clean. Helpful staff.

There is no air conditioning. Tried to open a window to get air at night but would only crack at the top. Miserable night sleeping. Also must go up one flight of stairs to get to elevator. Would think a ramp would be put in by now.

Staff was amazing and helpful in all elements.

Hated the feather pillows.

The room was larger than expected and the second bed was in its own alcove for privacy. The location near Isartor was excellent, within easy walking distance of the city center.

There is no dinner restaurant but the breakfast was satisfactory. Although there is a parking garage quite near the hotel, we had to wait in line for a free spot.

It was great.... Great little restaurant next door. The hotel served a nice breakfast.

Location, room and staff

Excellent spot for exploring Christmas markets. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The front desk area is clean, beautiful, and modern. The front staff was nice and courteous.The location is great — close to Hofbrauhaus and metro.

Once you leave the reception area the building is old with stained carpet in the hallway. The rooms itself was small and old. We had a pull out sofa for one bed and it was not suitable for sleeping.The bathroom has a tub, shower combo but no shower curtain. For the price this hotel was a disappointment.

Not worth it

TV was faulty. Wifi was in very bad shape, hardly any signal in the room. Noise from the road traffic.

I was travelling alone. Close to the City Centre and public Transport (all in all about 35-40min door to door from the Airport). The rooms and hotel were clean, 3* confort. The bathroom could be updated and made more convenient. A good breakfast is offered. All in all, good as you mainly use the Hotel to sleep.

The location was in a good area & walkable to the Marienplatz old city center. Nice size room with balcony. King bed was comfortable with nice bedding. Lots of closet space. Bathroom had a very nice modern shower with excellent water pressure & hot water! There was a breakfast restaurant for an additional price, we did not eat there but the buffet style set up looked pleasing with meat, cheese, bread, yogurt, cereals & juices. The lady server did put together a coffe & tea tray for us to take to our room in the morning, VERY nice! There is a very small & limited bar for beer & cocktails. The rooms and lobby area were clean & pleasant.

The hallway leading to the rooms is drab & dingey NO art on the walls, poor lighting and the carpets need to be replaced (very badly stained & dirty!) Gives a run down motel impression. There was no kettle or coffee/tea in the room (we like to have a cup of tea mid evening) and there was no way to purchase from the lobby & the cafés nearby close around 6-7pm

The room was clean and quiet. The hotel was easy access from the S-bahn and easy access to walk into the center.

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at property. We booked a few weeks in advance of a trip to Oktoberfest so I was not expecting much, but it was excellent. Very comfortable and nice. It was close to transport options and a short walk to the city center! I would definitely stay again

The staff was exceptional! We arrived very early and told our room would not be ready until 2. We had a very tired kiddo and asked if we could get a room sooner, which they were able to accommodate.

The room was very dated, which is fine, but the room smelt musty and like stale smoke.

real down pillows and comforter, better than at home. I counted 9 usable plugs!

Comfortable bed. Bathroom hot water available quickly. German style breakfast was good. Staff friendly and efficient.

Biggest drawback was unreliable Wi-Fi making getting email an online entertainment very difficult. TV was small with limited channels and virtually no English language stations. Room was small with no chest of drawers.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. They gave great recommendations and took the time to help with train tickets. Our room was clean and had good space! The location was truly the best.

The location. Walkable to everything. A very nice room with AC and parking next door.
