Hotel Astor

The hotel rating should be 3* because the room services did not meet the 4* hotel as had been advertised. Stayed few time at mercure hotel in europe was great 4* rating. Location quite walking distance from Munich HBF 10 minutes. Shops around the hotel

The room has visible problems - there were light fixtures that were missing, some of the wood paneling was gone, and it smelled a bit off.

Último andar acessível via escada. Não é um 4 estrelas nunca. Last floor acessible only by stairs. Definetly nós a 4 star hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Internet access in lobby (but German keyboard on PC made it verydifficult to use).

Small room (even for one person). Shower enclosure/curtain too short. Much of the water went on to floor. Water volume/temp control protruded so far into the stall that I was constantly bumping it from frigid to scalding! Not a pleasant experience!.

Convenient city center location. Comfortable & spacious room. Close to transportation. Friendly staff and nice buffet breakfast. Thank you!

saturday night the street was noicy

Staff was super friendly, Room was perfect for the price. We had coffees and complimentary water in the room. Everything near us, shops supermarket, restaurant and also the main train station.

The area was not so safe. A lot drunk people because of strip club and even drug dealer but ofc we know there's nothing the hotel could do about it

The location of the hotel is great, near city center, just perfect. Our two bus trips were just max 10 minutes walk and city center, Marienplatz about 12 minutes. many shops nearby, train station too. The hotel was clean, reception friendly, checkin was fast, no problems whatsoever. Breakfast was simple but I liked it, it was delicious. Not too crowdy, quiet hotel. Bathroom was clean, bed was ok. Checkout was very simple, just put your room cards into a box and that's it.

I didn't like that the room was for 2 but it had 2 separate bedsput together, they always shifed apart. Permanent connection would help. Also the bed had 2 separate one person blankets, also not confortable. And I really didn't like that the windows had no insulation, you can hear everything coming from the street. We were on 2nd floor but you could hear everyone talk and scream until 5 AM.. really some insulation would make it WAY better. Also would keep cold from coming inside. And the room door didn't look that secure, it was locked but kinda bendy, weird.

Small comfortable hotel, in a good location for access to hauptbahnhof and reasonable walking distance to city centre.Extensive Continental breakfast with small selection of hot food. Room very clean and provided with both coffee machine and kettle.

Warned in other peoples reviews about street noise at night but we didn't find this too disturbing but there was some shouting from the strip club opposite in the small hours!

Nothing special but all shops around are what I needed like supermarket food etc…

I came back at 3 AM and my hotel key wasn’t working I was stuck for 45 min before the hotel emergency number picked up and the person came 15 min later, at some point I thought I’ll be sleeping in the floor ; the next day I wasn’t even compensated am I only got sorry

Very good hotel! The location is amazing, the room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly.

The only downside was the windows — we could clearly hear noise from outside

Large modern clean room, better than in the pictures, close to metro and tram stations, great heating system, everyday cleaning, enough toiletries, enough light (natural and artificial)

The windows weren't soundproof at all - there was noise all night long; the minibar had no shelves; in the shower there was no shelf to put other cleaning products

Near the hauptbahnhof , many markets are near also , the property was clean , ac was working as well as the elevator, staff were very friendly and helpful
