The hotel was clean and very functional for us. The staff was excellent and very helpful as we had many questions. The breakfast was top notch. I would stay there again. No concerns.

A couple of blocks away from subway, grocery store, beer gardens, and main train station. Air conditioning was much needed during a heat wave. Breakfast was included and delicious. Internet was free though had to register by "accepting" a daily fee.

The elevator was broken when we arrived, so we had to carry suitcases up 5 flights of stairs.

This is NOT a 4 Star hotel compared to other 4 stars in Munich.

Very spacious and quiet rooms in a residential neighborhood. Breakfast is excellent. Just 2 city blocks from the UBahn, about 20 minutes to the central train station. Highly recommend the Lowenbrau Keller for a delicious meal and experience. The church of St. Benno nearby is beautiful—see their website for services and concerts. Booking.com indicates this property has laundry service—it does not. There is a laundrymat—City Dry Clean SB Wash Center on Augustenstraß, a 15-20 minute walk. Pass the time across the street at the charming Cafe Jasmine.

Very cozy room with clean, tasteful décor. The breakfast buffet offers excellent food selections, including traditional German items. The staff are courteous and very helpful. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Munich Central Station.

We had a second reservation for our last night in Munich. This time, our room was larger and had a nicer view. However, the bathroom’s walk-in shower had poor drainage — even a brief shower was enough to flood the entire bathroom floor (room #401).

Very pricey but it was Oktoberfest

I love this hotel! The staff is friendly, they always accommodate our requests for the same rooms each year. Within walking distance of the Ubahn and the area is completely safe.

Wifi not so good when you are relying for work. Room prices are typical for Oktoberfest. Plan on spending 2-3x normal rates for this time of year.
