The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom and the breakfast were very good.

The room was not so clean and it was cold

Rooms were pretty clean and spacious. Cristina, who helped me checkint in, was fabulous and well attending, offered info about the surroundings on where to eat on a Sunday and helped even tho my room was not ready. In general bathroom is very clean, room as well and it is practically what you expect for these fares. It is a very nice quality-price hotel and offers what expected.

Enis was really helpful. I arrived much earlier than the standard check in time due to my flight schedule, he let me checked in straight away without waiting as the room was ready. It really helped as I had jet lagged. Enis also helped me to check if I could stay in the same room as I arrived one day earlier and joined the tour of expat explore the next day. He checked first thing next morning and confirmed I could stay in the same room. That saved me a lot of time moving. I really appreciated his help.

    breakfast

There was no wifi in the room and management refused to correct the situation. We had to use the wifi in the lobby. The room had no heat in December it was cold. After the first night we finally got a space heater.

The friendly staff and the great location

    The TV didn't work

    5ToaryPosted on: 12-2-2025

Food is great though, quite a variety of choices.

On booking.com it says our room has coffee and tea making facilities, but there was none of it. The heater made a very loud noise, we had to turn it off. Staff, oh well if you are in a hospitality business, I think you should have done much better than that, this is talking about the reception and the lady at the breakfast room

    9TsvetomiraPosted on: 11-27-2025

Clean, spacious room, tea/coffee making facilities, comfy bed, free parking - only if you get lucky & on the street. Wide variety of food in the breakfast buffet, 5 min walk from the u-Bahn station

    - employees talking loud in ar@bic during the breakfast and trying to take your plate before you're done. WHY?!- some of the food looked like it was a few days old (dried surface of the soft cheese-spread, not fresh cut cucumbers, sour fruits in the fruit salad) - I am sure that you can do better than that!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would need to borrow some stars just to throw them at the manager. My stay here was a masterclass in disappointment. Walking into the lobby felt like entering a time machine set to "abandoned bus station." The smell alone could have its own Tripadvisor listing. The room was a crime scene, and the suspect is still at large. The carpet looked like it had survived three world wars and lost all of them. I’m convinced the mattress was stuffed with leftover regrets from previous guests. The pillows had the texture of damp bread. Even the lamp seemed ashamed to turn on.The bathroom deserves its own paragraph. The shower had two temperatures: Arctic Death and Boil Your Soul. The tiles were holding onto the walls purely out of habit. The towels were so thin they could qualify as paper. I’ve dried my hands better with air.Breakfast… what breakfast? The “buffet” looked like someone spilled sadness on a table and called it a meal. The eggs were a philosophical question. The coffee tasted like it had trust issues. As for the staff, I’m not sure they actually worked there. Each question I asked seemed like the first time they’d ever heard English, or human speech in general. In short: if you love yourself even a little bit, please stay literally anywhere else. Sleep in your car. Sleep in a tree. Sleep on the floor of an airport bathroom. Just don’t come here.

The location is fine for attending an event at the Messe, but it woild me nice to have the restaurant offering a bit more than the "kleine Karte" in the evening, as there seems to be no real restaurant in walking distance. The staff was very friendly!

Facilities were fair, the front desk people were also amazing. Sauna and fitness included in price, and very decent.

The cleaning crew was just out of control. For reference I stayed at the 3rd floor. The day I checked in, AFTER i was already taking nap from my long lasted flight, the crew just open the door of my room and kept talking until realised the room was occupied. (For context, they were shouting between each other in the corridor between 15.30 and 17). Then on the check out day, and after me locking the door for obvious reasons the day before, they managed to enter 5 times between 10.30 and 11.30, while check in is at 12. One of them I was already taking shower. Finally, room’s overall cleanness could be easily challenges by dusty surfaces, spiderwebs and breadcrumbs on the carpet. Also, I do not know if I am well spoiled or it’s a thing in Germany, but WiFi did not reach my room and when I used it in the common areas, it was just disappointing.

Our room had been refurbished and was quite spacious. The breakfast was good.

The location was too far out of the city. Very poor amount of eateries to choose from.
