Pros +
- Very cozy, stylish, clean and great stuff!
- We liked the location, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Overall, a very nice stay.
- Overall a good stay and we would return. The location is about 20 mins from the city centre, but the buses are really easy to use and Uber’s are unbelievably cheap (often cheaper than 2 bus tickets!). We also found a lovely coffee shop over the road, and our room had a great view of the church opposite. It was possibly the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in too and the amenities provided were great, even a mini sewing kit if needed.
Cons -
- Rooms are big but the placement of the bed is quite unique because of the pitched roof
- Unfortunately, with a room with a church view you do have to endure the 7am rather loud wake up call of church bells which go on for at least 2 minutes, this can be heard even with the window shut. The road must also be a link to the hospital, as sirens can be heard frequently so if you’re a light sleeper it’s probably not for you. Also if you don’t like soft pillows, this really won’t be for you as both my husband and I did struggle with the lack head support when trying to sleep! The check in process is also quite confusing - there is in a iPad for self check in but it’s not very clear so just something to bear in mind when you’ve been travelling for 8+ hours and are tired.

Location, breakfast, and the kindness of the staff
The bed wasn't comfortable and in a bad condition
Everything the location, the room the beer garden next door. Loved all the plates I could look at them for hours and they were all spotless.
Location and decor.
The bed was not comfortable and the room was very small.
Everything. Comfy bed, great location, staff were amazing. Lovely stay.
Convenient. Great breakfast and nice outdoor bars and restaurant
The room was very small with no room for cases and the floor was a bit dusty
One of the best hotels in the city - super cute room with cosy beds, close to the bus station (5 minutes), tram station (7 minutes) and metro (10 minutes) - it is easy to get to any place in the city, really nice cafes in the proximity
It was adorable although October 1 made it very very difficult to get there. I had a taxi and train and then Taxi again my room was lovely and adorable but the toilet didn’t work so very nicely. They gave me access to another room next to me to use that
Price was right and the restaurant was very cute. We really had a nice time.
The restaurant/Gasthaus is a typical Bavarian one, which for Munich is rather rare these days and good cuisine.Fair value for money as far as the accommodation goes but nothing to write home about. .
Room very small and no air conditioning, although it must be said the latter is totally normal for B&Bs in Germany and most of the year not a problem. Check-in not exactly hassle free. Breakfast only average.
Clean room, friendly staff, affordable price. Great breakfast buffet.
We had a room right under the roof, so the roof was low above the bed.
Innovative solutions to small spaces! The standard bedrooms are small in square footage, but are so cleverly laid out,it makes them feel boutique and cosy, rather than claustrophobic.Location: 20 minutes walk to Marienplatz with its own underground car park and €100/ night cheaper than equivalent property in the old town.
The guest elevator is also the staff and goods elevator, which means it is overused and in a poor state. However, the hotel accommodation is only spread over three floors, so if there’s nothing wrong with your mobility, use the stairs.
The hotel's location is really good, with a nice restaurant and ice cream shop right next to it. You can walk to the center, and there are also buses.
Self check in was very difficult we were there at 6pm and nobody at the reception
Comfortable, clean, good location and nice restaurant. It’s a traditional style hotel, small, with excellent staff. Good location for me with easy access to the Isar and nice walks but also walking distance to the old town.
There is no air conditioning, so the rooms can be warm but they provide a big fan and opening the window is fine. Be sure to ask for a room overlooking the courtyard. The street side has traffic noise but only with the windows open.
The location of it wasn’t pride festival parade would probably be quite good.
The room was tiny, as in couldn’t even fit suitcases and be able to access bed. No door on the toilet that is within arms reach of the bed. No aircon, only a stand up desk fan. The person on reception was not helpful at all. Also no mention that this was the starting spot for Pride festival parade on the day we arrived, surely in the messages we exchanged they could have thought to mention this as a possible issue in accessing property that day due to road closures? It’s a sign of a hotel that doesn’t actually want you to have a great holiday just wants your cash. Never again. Stayed in the room for about 30mins and couldn’t do it, even though we lost 3 nights money paid I went and found another hotel.
It was outside of the old city but close enough to quickly enjoy what The old city has to offer. Public transportation is close. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There is not air conditioning. The room was smaller than expected but the layout worked.
Great sized room. Super comfortable beds. Fast wifi. Good shower. Coffee machine. Great restaurant downstairs. Very quiet location.
There was no way to control the temperature in the room so was a little warm. No fridge
The rooms are nice and have a good layout with sufficient storage space. The beds are super comfortable
The room was too warm with windows too small to air up. We were woken up early by staff that wanted to do cleaning and knocked every hour
The staff is super friendly; parking is easy and had no issues; the breakfast was stellar; the rooms were well decorated and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design; great location
There is almost no privacy when it comes to using the bathroom in the rooms; only a partially frosted glass door. Also, there's only one door for the shower and the toilet - and only one of them can be closed at a time. It's weird.
