Mandarin Oriental Munich

Nice hotel. My "suite" wasn't really a suite. It was a room.

Nothing says "5 star hotel" better than having empty shampoo and soap bottles in the shower. It took housekeeping 20 minutes to solve the issue. Really great when you need to go to a business meeting.

Perfect location, excellent facilities, extremely clean and the staff are awesome, excellent and helpful.

From my personal perspective, Mandarin Oriental Munich is by far the best hotel in the city. This is my fourth stay here, and each time it convinces me even more that it is the perfect choice—it has never disappointed me. The hotel truly values returning guests and shows genuine appreciation for loyalty. The location is excellent, and the staff are absolutely outstanding. Without a doubt, it will remain my only choice whenever I visit this beautiful city.

There is a large building site directly next to and over looking the hotel. Very noisy and unsightly to look at.Our room overlooked the site which wasn't pleasant.

Amazing hotel experience as it usual is with Mandarin chain! Best staff, amazing service and incredible BAR with one of the best I ever tried cocktails! And location - no one has better in Munich!

Breakfast is good but could have more variety

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were well appointed and very clean. The location is in the heart of the old city so great for exploring if you are a first time visitor to Munich like we were.

The service at the signature Japanese restaurant was poor. No atmosphere, no engagement with customers, some also hotel guests. Like so often, these days with staff, it becomes more about individuals completing their tasks/jobs with minimal etiquette and missing the big picture which is to give your customers a great experience so they return. The food was good but overpriced.

The staff was excellent. Raphaella, checking us in and Vincenzo and his Italian coworker at the front door were extremely helpful and solicitous.

Almost everything considering that we’ve paid 2000 euros a night. staff not very performing waiting to get attended rooms small overlooking major and noisy works. Poor breakfast

A rich and varied breakfast, the service in the dining room is great, the dining room is quiet and pleasant

The location was great and the restaurant was delicious.

Remote control only worked half a meter from the tv and i asked for it to be fixed but it wasnt. Ipad charger for room service wasnt working so I couldnt order food. Telephone wasnt working and I couldnt access reception. Asked for 2 ham and cheese sandwich without ham, received one with only ham and the other with both ham and cheese.

Amazing room and bathroom, and breakfast buffet was wonderful. Room service was great, and the team was very friendly.

There's a new construction right in front of the hotel - which of course is not their fault.

Excellent location, nice luxurious room and friendly staff ( reception & Gabriel the porter/doorman). The Japanese restaurant was really good as well.

Boutique hotel experience, excellent location for getting around the Old Town but still quiet. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and accommodated our requests as best as possible. A small issue regarding document printing and scanning request but otherwise excellent

The room was extremely comfortable with the very best of amenities. We were delighted each afternoon with champagne and chocolates in our room. There was great attention to detail in the room set-up and its servicing.

The stay was perfect. There is absolutely nothing to dislike. There was some construction next to the hotel - but it really provided little distraction to the experience.

I can’t say enough about our short 2 night stay at MO! The staff was absolutely incredible and made the stay for us amazing. From jennifer the front desk manager (who couldn’t have been more accommodating and thoughtful) to marinella at the front desk who gave my 2.5 year old son toys and puzzles to Sebastian at the front desk who although was an intern was incredible - each with their attention to detail and to our well being was very evident with every encounter. They even set up a surprise in our room for our 2.5yo with a play tent for him. Alexander at the front door and the entire bell staff were so kind and helpful. I can’t say enough. The breakfast was also excellent and extensive which was included for us. The food and drinks in the lobby living room with the piano were excellent. We will definitely come back here for our next stay in Munich. We LOVED IT thanks to the hotel and staff.
