    Pros +

    • Front desk staff was amazing! Very clean, simple but exactly what we wanted and needed. We would stay here again!
    • Fine
    • Very close to the train station and bus stations, great locality for restaurants and cafes. Room and corridors very clean.

    Cons -

    • Thank God for ear plugs because the trams dont stop all night long.
    • The staff at the front desk could be a bit better trained/friendlier. All three times that I interacted with someone (two different women), it seemed like I was bothering someone who was biding time. Nothing dramatic just not super friendly.
    • Breakfast room looked a bit small and dismal and breakfast looked limited. Though we hadn’t booked breakfast as there is a wonderful, though expensive, cafe serving breakfast, just down the road.

Friendly staff and very good location

Almost impossible to sleep due to the noise of the traffic, especially streetcars

Front desk staff was great. Super value for location . Close to train station and could hear trains at night but price more than made up for it. Clean, safe, and modest rooms. I would come again!

Clean, close to main station, many restaurants around and yet doesn’t have “Central Station” vibe, it’s in a quite a nice neighbourhood.

I wish there was a kettle / coffee in the room

    Clean rooms and helpful staff!

No air conditioning (but I did get provided a fan) Only one pillow (I didn’t ask for another)

A great central location to see all of the historic sights around Munich, hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were very helpful as well. Nice view from the window! Staff were kind in allowing us to check in early and use luggage storage which made travelling very easy.

Parking garage was under repairs - it would have been nice to know ahead of time when booking a rental car. Difficult to find cheap parking anywhere close to

Excellent location, very friendly staff, modern facilities good shower and quiet room.

It could have been improved with coffee and tea facilities in the room.

    9WendyPosted on: 1-12-2026

Comfortable rooms, staff very helpful, let us check in a little early when we asked about storing luggage until official check in time.

Close to main train station which was convenient but slightly noisy area of the city with tram traffic.

Solo traveler and this was a good spot for me. I felt safe and the room was perfect. It was comfortable, clean, and quite nice and the price point far exceeded what I expected. I’ve honestly paid more in other countries for a motel that was questionable. Very close to the train station, you can walk maybe 10 ish minutes and I did this or there is a Straßen Bahn but it’s only one stop away. That being said it’s still very quiet, I had no problems at any time of day with noise. Very easy to get to Marienplatz or the Residenz. There is also a Rewe (grocery store) down the street which I really appreciated. They weren’t able to let me check in early but I was able to leave my suitcase there while I started my trip.

Great location—a couple of block from central train station and walking distance to lots of good stuff in center city. Friendly staff. Simple and comfy room. The bed and pillow were comfortable.

Good hotel, but be aware of the surrounding areaThe hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with polite and helpful staff. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel, but everything inside was fine and the stay was pleasant. The location is convenient, close to the train station and public transport, which makes getting around Munich easy. However, it’s important to note that this is not an issue with the hotel itself, but with Munich’s train station area. The surroundings felt dodgy, especially in the evening, with many questionable characters around. Nothing happened to us, but we did not feel very safe when returning later at night.Overall, the hotel was good, but it’s worth being aware of the neighbourhood at night.

    5SimonPosted on: 1-4-2026

The hotel was in a good central location. However, the trams passing the hotel all through the day and night made it a noisy location and noticed this in the night while trying to sleep.

    9NataliaPosted on: 1-4-2026

Very friendly and ready to help hotel staff, it was real pleasure to communicate with themVery clean and comfortable situated near Munich Hbf railway station

    Noise from tramway

    7AmyPosted on: 1-2-2026

Good breakfast. Location not too far from central areas, friendly staff mostly

Trams were noisy. We knew this ahead of time but it was probably worse than expected.

    10StellaPosted on: 1-2-2026

Everything was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was very clean, and our room was cleaned and tidied every day. There was heating in the room, and it was very warm and comfortable. The location is excellent — very central, and only a 5-minute walk from Munich’s main metro station.

    9TaniethPosted on: 1-1-2026

We were close to the centre. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful.

Very narrow entry to car park!
