    Pros +

    • Good price, good location (a few tram stops away from city center). Breakfast excellent, coffee and tea available all day long.
    • Warm, quiet windows opened for fresh air
    • Affordable and easy walking distance to the Hauptbanhauf.

    Cons -

    • The hotel was fine but there is a construction site right outside. They start working at 7 a.m. There are bars down the street. People are screaming like someone is skinning them alive at four in the morning.
    • No a/c is the norm in Europe, but kinda sucks when the temperature gets into the 90's. Opening the window made it cooler, but then you had the street noise.
    • This was a blatant rip off by any stretch of the imagination. The women at the fron t desk when we checked in was nasty, the rooms were tiny, smelled. The beds were terrible. There were no amenities. The neighborhood was not the best either.

    Free cafe

Very loud, not a good place to get some sleep

I like the quaint and small rooms very cozy and good to sleep in. Warm and comfortable the entire time.

    The shower didn’t drain well

Good location in city centre. Very good for a few business days. Room was clean and staff welcoming.

    Nothing to highlight

The room is very comfortable! The beds and pillows are especially good, I slept very well on them, and normally that's hard for me. The bathrooms were very clean. I had a quiet night.

The shower was a bit small, I kept hitting the temperature control while turning around in it, and the drain didn't work very well. The decor is a little bit tacky. The elevator is also very small and rather dated.

A great place for a short stay. Convenient location, smooth check-in, clean and cozy room, comfy bed. Coffee and tea was available 24/7 in the breakfast area.

This was my second stay at the hotel because in my opinion it's a solid choice. It's on the edge of a very hip residential area with lots of cute bars and restaurants within walking distance, and not far from the Hauptbahnhof or main train station. It's clean and usually very inexpensive relative to other nearby properties, and you get a lot for your money; they offer fancy coffees throughout the day from a machine you use yourself, a bowl of fresh apples and a delicious breakfast made with love. And the staff is the best; NO ATTITUDE, helpful and friendly.

Not much. They will hold luggage for you, they happily granted me an extra hour to check out and they accommodated my request for a room on a higher floor and not facing the front street.

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We managed to get a super early check-in, because the receptionist asked cleaning staff if they already had a clean room, that was great. In the evening we had only cold water, but they fixed it as fast as they could. Breakfast is good value for money. Location is great, close to Augustiner Braukeller (old Munich beer hall) and easy tram ride or walk to the old city.

For this price nothing really - good value for money.

    Too small and location

Very central to Munich. Munich Hbf was 3 stops away by tram. Hotel was quiet. Staff were friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

    Lovely staff and great location

Didn’t find the beds and pillow comfortable. Pretty dated rooms and facilities

    10EstefaniaPosted on: 1-6-2026

The room is just like the photo: nicely decorated, with comfy beds and view to the streets. The hotel is well located, very close to different transportation options, and has a good breakfast for the price.

The bathroom is a bit outdated, with the blow dryer overheating when in use. Also, you can hear movement in the corridors, so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

    Passable

We booked two twin beds and sent a special request for them a few times, but we only got one bed and the staff did nothing to fix it, so two adults had to sleep in one bed. The Staff said us "this is not dramatic". What?

Great location, friendly and helpful staff! Free coffee

    8CynthiaPosted on: 1-4-2026

Stylish, modern, well furnished, very clean room. Free freshly grounded coffee, hot chocolate at the restaurant in ground floor. Breakfast is good. Value for money. Excellent room rates.

The hotel room space is small. It is good for 1 person, but slightly tight for 2 people. The hotel is not that close to the main entrance of Munich Main Station. About 1.5 kms, about 25 mins walk.

    1Aalex93Posted on: 1-2-2026

The only good thing was the fact that is was close to Tollwood festival, about 10 min walking.

The room is not soundproof, so on the new years night we listend techno music from a near by club until 5 in the morning and naturally we couldn't sleep. The staff was very rude. We came down at the reception at about 4 in the morning to ask if there was another room available because we needed to sleep. The man was asleep, and of course after we woke him up we started to be rude saying that "what, just because we can't sleep we thought of waking him up as well or what" and he can't help us since is new year's. And not to mention that at the reception area everything was peace and quiet and our man was sleeping so peacefully and snoring, not like the us idiots from the room. The room was way to expensive for the conditions they had. It was very cold, the heat was not working well, the only warm place in the room was the bathroom that apparently was recently renovated, but that was so incredibly small. The windows were so old and not closing properly, one more reason for the cold in the room. It was the worst experience with a hotel, the price was way to high for one night for the conditions there, even for the new year's night. My advice, if you want to book there for the holiday, don't. Unless you want to be kept awake until 5 in the morning, to freez the hole night and to end up frustrated and tired.

Nice comfortable hotel on the quiet street, very close to Hauptbahnhof and to the park, where Octoberfest takes place. Modest, but you will have everything you need. Nice bad. We liked the view from the balcony on tiled roofs. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast!

Small room (but for the price it’s ok), but was it really necessary to make small a barred window at the bottom of the toilet door? Without it would me more privacy
