Pros +
- The room is very freshly renovated
- The rooms were very nice and modern. The staff was friendly. And the breakfast very good and comfortable.
- Location. If you are lucky to get a new and modern room in the backyard, that's perfect. But if you get a room under the roof in the old building like me....
Cons -
- The safe is tiny, and mounted to a flimsy shelf.
- The hotel consists of two buildings, an old one and a new one. I already stayed in both parts. The new one (in the backyard) is perfect, the rooms are awesome and stylish. But the room I now stayed in was very poor, like in a 50 year old motel.
- Our room faced the street directly opposite a noisy restaurant and an even noisier bar. The patrons were outside until about midnight during the week and past 3:00 am on Fri & Sat. Our shower was way too small.

This hole was conveniently located for all our planned activities. The breakfast buffet was very good. If staying at this hotel be sure to ask for a room in the new part in the rear.

I liked the location, though the hotel was chosen for very personal reasons. There is contactless access to the room, which is convenient if you arrive at night. The room was warm and clean, but I believe these things should be a given for any accommodation.Ultimately, I feel that €300 for two nights should offer more value and better advantages than what we received.
First of all, the price! It's €150 per night. Please keep that in mind while reading this. The drain plug in the sink (which is located in the living room) was broken, and the water wouldn't drain. The mechanism was stuck, so we had to remove the plug and leave it on the edge of the sink. However, instead of fixing it, room service simply put the plug back in.In the bathroom, the shower head has no wall mount, and the rainfall shower has very weak pressure. The amenities are almost non-existent. There was only some liquid soap in the bathroom—no hair conditioner, no body lotion, and no soap by the sink in the room. The toilet area has no sink at all. Every time you use it, you have to walk across the room to wash your hands, where (as mentioned) there is no soap. XDThe breakfast start time depends on the day, but it’s always too late. If you’ve booked a ski bus, be aware that you won't be able to have breakfast beforehand. On Sunday, breakfast starts at 8:00 AM, but the buffet layout is poorly designed, creating bottlenecks everywhere. Whether you want coffee, a sausage, or just a piece of bread, you’ll immediately find yourself in a crowd and someone will be waiting exactly for you. The buffet area is tiny. The breakfast itself was poor—a minimal selection and nothing warm. Fresh bread didn’t even arrive until about 9:00 AM. If you plan to leave Munich early in the morning, forget about having breakfast at the accommodation. The staff wasn't friendly; they did the bare minimum.Overall, the experience wasn't "terrible," but for this price point, it is unacceptable.
Location close to university and museums
Bad mattress that was sagging. WiFi was horrible in the room I stayed on 3rd floor. I pointed out the WiFi problem and the front desk staff said the problem is with the two devices I have. The network would connect and then automatically disconnect. The front desk staff was not helpful at all and grumpy.
Excellent location to shopping, groceries for water and snacks, eateries for dinner, bakeries for afternoon tea, hair salons and barbers, .The only down side is not too close to public transportation since under construction, although could use the bus 2 blocks away. BOLT and taxi service available and reasonable.Hotel has paid parking if needed. Breakfast was wonderful with nice selection of seasonal fresh fruit and bread and healthy breakfast choices
All good!
The location worked out great. The size of the room was nice. I had a nice size TV in the refrigerator. The bed was comfy. Staff at front desk were great and the staff for the breakfast were great as well
We were traveling with another couple. We both asked for rooms with kitchenette. we got one and they did not. They were told there was only one kitchenette in the whole building, which is what we had. Our safe did not work and theirs did not either. I acquired keys the following morning for both safes. Our safe was mounted so low and had a shelf above it. I had to lay on the floor to actually see and get into it. I removed the shelf above it and set it aside during our stay so we could use the safe easily. When I did lay down the first time to look at the safe, there was thick dust everywhere, including the floor. The room was not very clean. Upon entering our room the first night the cord on the TV was just hanging. No matter how I move the TV there was no plug to plug it in. I redid some lights and used an extension cord that was under the bed to plug the TV into but this arrangement is not good because you could easily trip over it especially at night. When our room was cleaned, we sometimes got two hand towels each and sometimes only one. Our glasses would be left out, but they would not touch them. The drains were all slow draining, but I do realize it’s an old building so maybe that is normal. We actually thought about moving to another location, but that was just not worth it and it would take too much time. Also, it looks like our room had furniture they found at garage sales and was mixed matched. It did not make any sense. The other rooms were not like that at least the ones we seen.
Super central location, big nice rooms. Quiet and nice decoration.
I stay at this hotel quite often for both work and leisure. It is in an unbeatable location and has a charm that most chain hotels don't have. There's a decent breakfast and helpful staff. Great restaurants, museums and galleries right at the doorstep. Also close to the centre, university, and English Garden.
For the first time I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the rooms, the floor especially was quite dusty and seemed it hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. In the basic double rooms the bathrooms are very small and the sink is in the bedroom itself, which is a bit of a pain (my experience in the higher category rooms is that they are much better). The price is a little on the high side for what you get, in the basic rooms especially. That said, not enough to be too off-putting. I will be back!
Location was close to the event, large room, breakfast included in room's price
No 24 hour lobby service, first access a bit convoluted
Private bathroom/ensuite. Delicious breakfast spread.
Bed was too soft
Excellent location! Lots of interesting shops and cafés downstairs. The room was cozy, clean, and warm. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with everything from kiwi to ham. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Munich. Highly recommended.
Location and the facilities, also the breakfast
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and had options to fill you up and hold you until lunch. Great coffee! The location was perfect as there were plenty of restaurants nearby and there are bus stops on both ends of the block, and they are just a short ride from the subway.
There were only 2 things I didn't care for. First, there was a cutoff time for parking a car as they close the large garage door to the parking area. Second, I realize they do this to save electricity, but the lights in the halls are motion activated so they turn off when nobody is in the hall. This seems like a safety issue in a dark hall as they take a moment to turn back on.
The hotel staff was very friendly and nice. The beds aren’t super comfy but they were good for 1 night. We loved the location because it’s very walkable and public transportation is close. We stay during Oktoberfest so we did pay above average price I think. The free breakfast was nice and the coffee was perfect. I would stay here and recommend it. There’s also lots of restaurants and bars and stores next to the hotel and museums within walking distance.
Went to Munich for Oktoberfest. 50 minute walk to Oktoberfest. Restaurant and bar nearby hotelSpacious room, clean. No complaints

The breakfast was very very good.
The rooms are run down and in need of repair. Towel rack fell off the wall, door handle had 2 screws missing and was suppose to have kitchenette. Chandelier was ready to fall off the ceiling and safe did not open without a key!
The hotel was basic but has a lovely and different charm. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very clean. The breakfast was simple but satisfying.Good value for money.
The accommodation was comfortable with a very big room and space to unpack. Breakfasts were great and one could make tea or coffee throughout the day until about 7pm. It is also located close to the tram which is very helpful.
Smokers sat on their balconies just below our room, so we couldn't keep the windows open. There is no aircon or fan, so it gets a bit warm in the room.
