THE 4YOU Hostel & Hotel Munich

Its was so dirty!! I had to extend my stay in Munich and booked another Hotel on purpose!!

Room: Bunk beds worked well for our family of 5 / Lots of Space in the room / Reasonably Clean and Sufficiently ComfortableToilets & Shower: Shared facily with the entire floor level / Male & Female has separate Toilet-Shower facilities / Never crowded despite being shared / Reasonably Clean & acceptableFood & Drink: Received Drinks Vouchers which are used at Vending Machine and Bar :) / Paid Breakfast was 1/2 Price for Children / Breakfast was Reasonable and Sufficient in a Big Room.Location: Great Place to Stay as it was 3-5minutes Walk from main Munich Central Station :)Noice: Was Not Noisy, Not Crowded, Streets outside were generally Quiet :)Safety: Constant Patroling of the street by Police was reassuring

Towels: We had not realised these were Additional Pay / However this was OK as Towels can be used for multiple days

Good location, clean rooms and bathrooms. Friendly enough staff. There’s a common area on the main floor and they give you a free drink everyday.

There’s no kitchen, the only microwave they have is behind the bar and isn’t for guests. You can ask the bartender to use it like I did and he let me but it’d be the perfect place if they had a little kitchen area.

Location was central and convenient.

The orientation of bunks in the room could potentially be adjusted so the first bunks locker doesn’t block the entrance for others coming in and out.

The reception ( especially Laura) and bar staff are awesome! Helped me with every request. Super friendly. Also the location is extremely convenient.

The location was excellent, at a walking distance from the central station and the city center. The welcome drink was quite nice. There was a room for leaving the luggage. The common areas with tables were also nice.

The women's bathrooms weren't private enough. As a woman I felt that any man could just sneak in and watch. I say this since we experienced some level of stalking from a male guest. I understand the behaviour of this person wasn't the hostel responsibility, but if we booked for an only female room we would have liked it to be in a only-women floor/section. Since we always faced the possibility of stumbling with this man at the corridors.

It was very close to the station but in a valley, as a solo traveller it's kind scary for me.

There is no fridge, no microwave. The room smells sooooo bad, I wanted to puke. There's no place to put my clothes at the shower, so I was basically naked in the bathroom and sometimes people don't close the door. For me, it wasn't a comfortable stay. I'm glad I only stayed for one night.

The free 1 drinks per day, clean rooms, comfortable stay, friendly staff, and a convenient location with easy access to public transport.

The noise from the other guests which you can’t avoid since it’s a hostel and it was holiday seasons during my stay.

I stayed in single rooms. Location is very good. The room and facilities were clean. You can book. ?

Wonderful location and next to a garage with reduced parking rate for hostel guests. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast and bar are great. Nice mix of families and solo travelers. We stayed there with our teenage children and would feel comfortable with them staying there when they on their own one day.

The facility is showing its age a bit—clean but could use some sprucing up.

I had a private room and it was amazing, it even had a bathtub. Everything was perfect: Wi-Fi, TV, and heating. The receptionist, Lara, was very helpful, kind and always available! The common area, luggage storage and a free drink!

I didn’t like at all that the cleaning lady came and opened my room with her own key before 10 am, without even knocking or asking permission, despite checkout was at 11 am. It was really unpleasant, even though she apologised. If everything else wasn’t perfect, I would’ve left a lower rating. I hope the staff will be properly trained after seeing this note

Great value for money! Excellent location - only 5 minutes’ walk from central train station. The place has a large bar that is open until 1 AM. Very friendly and helpful staff - Sameh, Sahil, Amir. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable bed,has complimentary drinks, good breakfast, very close to shops and just few minutes walk to taxis, bus, metro station.

There were no space to hang clothes and towels at the shower for ladies.

The location is great, near to the access to all public transport. The staff are very helpful. The drink voucher is very helpful. The accommodation is sparkling clean. Keep up the good job. I'll surely come back

location is near main station so good for transportation that’s the ONLY positive by far the worst hostel i’ve stayed at

first off, was ignored by front desk and the little girl with brown hair allowed another lady to go in front of me. secondly, if you charge a 2 euro deposit for the key card then that needs to be shown on booking!! especially since you don’t take a card for it. the room was filthy and terrible. a table two chairs and beds with sheets and no privacy whatsoever. walls beside the bed was incredibly dirty. no curtains on the windows?! bathroom not clean and very outdated. was first sent to a room with men even tho i booked a female only room… had to go back down to reception to change rooms breakfast is subpar .. cereal, cheese, bread, coffee… not worth the price they want you to deliver your sheets to front desk so housekeeping doesn’t have to do it …STAY ELSEWHERE

It was ok and its location is great as well

The beds are too close to each other; and I’m saying this a someone who has already slept in various hostels. This is not the hostels fault but as a female traveler: girls, men are kind of disgusting sometimes ? my first impression when entering the dorm was a guy only wearing boxers and the room smelt awful. That almost never happens when you are in a female dorm, so if you are a girl, I think it’s better if you book an all female room; I wanted to puke as I got used to the smell of the room ?

Room was as expected, clean and the bar area was comfortable and friendly staff. Very close to the train station and easy to walk into downtown area.

It was as expected for a hostel, no complaints.

Bathrooms could be better.

Hostel/Hotel was in a great location one street back from the train station. We had a private double room with ensuite bathroom. It was larger that the pictures showed and we had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and linen was clean. Water was hot with good pressure. Wifi was good. A pleasant 8 minute walk into MarienPlatz and we managed to a do most of the sights and Christmas Markets by walking. but when we needed to, the subway was across the road. Was very convenient as we came in and left via train.

Great location and great value for the price. The shared bathroom was very clean, and although I booked 2 beds in a 6-bed dorm, we were pleasantly surprised to get a private room for two instead. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
